Hi all,
Do any one of you have idea ,that when an agent tells that they are doing background check like checking PCC and stuff for both PA and Sponsor.
What stage would the file be on??
Like did they already syated work on Spousal Eligibility or what??

I don't think I did anything special. We followed the application instructions and provided all the docs and paid all the fees upfront (including biometrics). I read that some applicants go out of their way to submit a very comprehensive hence thick stack of application, put in the extra docs that IRCC did not ask for. IMO this only takes up more of the officer's time to review your case thus AOR comes later? But if you read the forum, many think the way they process our file is random, the process seems all messed up.
I recently got my AOR. they received my file on Nov 23. Did anyone got their Medical or Bio metric request?
I think we should start seeing some of the Biometric and Medical request one month from now so around March
Application was received Nov 30 Nova Scotia but still haven’t heard anything yet I’m so stressed
Mine was received on 4 November and no AOR yet. Though the agent gave me temporary number but I am perplexed how do they process applications because December applicants are getting their AOR and there is no AOR for October applicants.
I’m sure you will receive your AOR soon, seeing that they are processing the applications faster now. May good news come your way soon!
Today, I realized that customer Agents start lying to us. The guy told me that my application is under criminality screening while I do not have AOR yet. When I insist about how this could happen since the officer do not know if my file is complete yet. Finally he took all his words back and told me it was in prospective; it still can be returned if the officer find it was incomplete or has missing documents.
I think that it is hard for some of us who are in stand by mode since we don't know if the application will be returned or not after months.

My friend applied for his wife and application was received on November 1 . When he check ECAs it shows application received. Any idea are you guys able to see anything?
