Honestly? Not great, but it's also because I have no clue based on the data. Looking at the September and October sheet reveals a lot of stale or incomplete data, but the worrying thing is that almost all of the Montreal applicants have virtually no data against them. For example:What's your analysis regarding Montreal applicants?
September 2020:
There are 9 or so applicants and the average of those 9 specifically comes out to almost 67 odd days.
What makes this worse is the fact that of the 9 or so applicants, 5 are stale entries, leaving the average to be guesstimated from 4 entries, which are also pretty bad (AOR to IP of 84 days, 70 days, 39 days, and 76 days - the last one, 76 days is important because that's Family data, the others are all Single applications and they're terrible, numbers-wise)
October 2020:
The AOR to IP average for Montrealers in October seem to be much better - there are 8 or so applications from the tracker and the average comes out to be almost 36 days. This is good, though not great as such - it means that they definitely did pick up pace for the scant records we have in October, but nothing extraordinarily so.
However, the data quality here isn't that much better than September - of the 8 or so applications, the average is only guesstimated from 4 entries, with the other 4 being either stale/not received (though the other details on those records would lean towards the former).
Summary (and a small rant):
All in all, the sheets need to have cleaner data - a lot of folks seem to request their information be added to a tracker, but then cba to follow up with updates from their side, nor is there any defined criteria for removal of entries from the tracker once they hit certain 'staleness' criteria (Last login > 3 months, No response to 2 follow up requests, User doesn't exist on this forum). The biggest reason that November 2020 has the 97% record that it does is that I specifically reached out to folks and hounded them for updates to keep the sheet clean; the 3% remaining have either:
a) Dropped off the map completely (not logged into the forum for months after the originally requested their details be added to the tracker), or
b) Not even members of the forum, leaving me no path to follow up and get the datapoints out of them.
I get that nobody lives on this forum (well, I might but that's also because I'm doing a spousal application in parallel and this place is a good source of information), but it's kinda irresponsible in my eyes to commit to something but not follow through.
For test-taking, possibly not but their internal mandate (at least pre-covid) was that it needed to be the closest CPC to their residence, from what I could gather of the original process. So effectively, a Mississauga resident would have to have their application 'processed' by CPC-M, but after that point and going into test administration (a new stage of the process), it was entirely up to load-balancing between facilities; so it's possible to have your application paperwork processed by CPC-M, but have your test-taking responsibility 'transferred' to CPC Scarborough (seeing as the file was effectively 'local' at this point), which would also explain your friend's scenarios. However, this is also only a hypothesis; the only way to be sure is to have your friends request their GCMS notes to confirm this is actually what happened, or that their applications despite being destined for the Mississauga facility, were taken on by CPC Scarborough (which would imply some sort of lot 'bidding' process for workload that happens after Sydney is done with their completion checks to self-solve the load-balancing process by having available hands take up the work. But, since their process is so opaque to us, there's no way to be sure.I don't think it is mandatory for your application to go to Mississauga even if you live in Mississauga isn't it?
A lot of my friends who live in Mississauga were called to Scarborough for tests (pre-COVID) meaning either the swap must have happened prior to processing or prior to testing.
