Good Day!
I have been a silent reader of this forum. Today I wanted to share an update on our application and get some answers from the expert @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes. For easy readability, the notes section is in blue text.
We are FSW-Outland and our visa office is Manila. AOR is 1st Nov 2020 and we are a family of 3. We applied for CBSA notes and just got them today. The notes were printed on 21 May 2021.
The current status of our file is as below:

meets min required points and appears to have sufficient funds for family composition (ie for 3). The decision is passed. All fees paid. Meds and Biometrics complete. Integrated search: NAI.

Now my questions are as follows:
1) Is the security passed or are they still working on the security of the spouse? In the notes section, the latest entry says no concerns with PA. The reason I am asking is that my spouse's security started and then canceled. Do we have to worry about this. Following are the extracts from the notes:

If your security is blank, then it is either in progress or passed.

Most likely form the activities it seems that the security is complete. Once the security is done, the report is complied by the National Security Screening Division (NSSD) and screening partners and sent to IRCC. which then makes a determination and updates your application accordingly.

Usually the average time for security is 110 days as per the security screening manual, see https://bit.ly/3apWglN

As regards cancelled, not all individuals will go though a comprehensive security screening. That could be a reason for the status as cancelled.

To be absolutely sure on the status of security, you will have to call IRCC or send a webform and ask specifically about the security screening status.

The groups are created and applications clubbed for processing convenience. If you are outside Canada, and you need a visa to travel to Canada, you will be sent a passport request, PPR, asking you to submit your passport.

If you are in Canada, then you will get a COPR from IRCC after you confirm your physical presence in Canada and your address.

This is a note for that, but no need to be concerned about it.

If you are from india then download textme purchase canadian number and then call them.
I usually call them after 11 pm..
 
I did get a log in details for PR Confirmation portal and got eCOPR copy. However , my photos are still not approved yet on the website. Any idea how long it takes to get photos approved?

Also, on IRCC website my application still shows as In Process? Do i need to worry? @legalfalcon

How did you received the eCOPR copy.email?

The status in Myaccount will continue to show in progress until the COPR is generated and issued to you.

It can tale 5-10 days for the photos to be approved.
 
Hey @legalfalcon,

My passport is expiring next month along with my BOWP status. Monday, 7 June, would be the 18th day waiting for COPR on the new PR portal after photo, address and declaration submission. If I apply to renew my passport now, do you know if:

1. I need to send a web form to update IRCC when I submit my new passport application?
2. Will it delay the CoPR even further?

Even if I get the COPR, would I still need to notify IRCC that I have a new passport for my PR card application?

I’m weighing the idea of just getting the new passport now, and, in doing so, complicates the process further, or if I should just wait till I at least have the COPR.
