I was thinking of waiting another week to see if there is any movement. If not, I will probably prefer to order GCMS as I see some cases for whom the meds are stuck at reviewing results for months on end.

Could someone please help me with any other suggestion, please?

Why don't you try calling them? Few people have done that recently after MEP and got to know their VO and other things.

Sorry if this is dumb and the number is easily available, but do you know how I can call them?

I have heard of TextNow app for free calling but can you can always use an ISD calling pack and dial IRCC's number directly, I have called OINP this way.

You might be exempted if you gave your biometrics anytime during the past 10 years. Did you check your information box on the right when you open your PR application? It might be updated automatically and you don't have to give your biometrics once again.

The information on the right has not been updated and I have not given biometrics in the last 10 years.

@legalfalcon As VAC in India are not processing biometric for FSW PR applicants at the moment and not sure when will they start, does that mean the application will be on hold and cic can't progress further without biometrics and will add further delay in taking a decision of that application or they can still continue with checking other stuff.

In addition this, In which stage will they verify and really need the biometrics and can't progress that stage? Thank you in advance for your response.

Biometrics is a part of your criminality. If your biometrics are pending your application will continue to progress, and your criminality will show as pending. Until your provide the biometrics, or are exempt from it, a final decision will not be made.

Has anyone (for November AOR) tried to know their application status by sending a webform? Does IRCC care to reply?

I didn't try it. Heard we have to wait for a week. Instead I found calling IRCC to be easier and you get to the status instantly.
