I received a "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" along with BIL. The only issue with my medicals was an unusually high BP (128/94). The doctor said as long as creatinine level was normal, it should be alright. But now that I haven't received MEP, what should I do next?

AOR : 24 Nov
BIL : 8 Jan (booked for 21st)
Did the doctor also mention IRCC might ask for furtherance tests?

Quebec skilled worker here.
AOR: Nov. 24. Still nothing from IRCC. I think I did the biometrics 4 years ago (I cannot remember, nor I remember if dependant spouse did them too). Waiting for medicals, I imagine.
We need to fly out on Jan 22 for family reasons. Can you do medicals and biometrics from abroad?

I think it’s too early for the eligibility to start in your case? Anyways has anyone Nov AOR’s eligibility started already?

Probably a lot of early Novembers since Eligibility is what they start with very often right after MEP

Yes you can do biometrics from any country, and I imagine the same is true for medicals

Dear @legalfalcon
Does every application go through the stages in this particular order? :

R10 (Completeness check)
Medicals
Criminality
A11.2 Eligibility (The most important stage)
Security

Like they do R10 then medicals passed etc?
Or they can do it in different order?

thanks!

She just mentioned that they might ask further tests. But then I haven't been asked to get that either. It just says reviewing results.
I was told the same thing that my BP was a little high and I might be asked for furtherance tests but thankfully I got MEP/BIL at the same time.

I checked older threads on this forum and found that if BP readings are >= 140/90, then IRCC will ask for furtherance tests and I have seen people getting MEP after the furtherance test results are submitted. The second value in your reading is higher than 90, that could be the reason you didn't get MEP with BIL. Did you give x-ray first before taking BP readings during the medical exam?

Yes, in one of my old posts I have listed in detail the reason for this sequence. In short, if your application in complete it will be rejected at R10, so no point in proceeding further. Then if your are inadmissible based on Criminality or Medicals, then there is no point in doing the eligibility.

Only when an application has passed R10, Criminality and Meds, will the eligibility start, which is very Time consuming and takes 2-3 months and all documents have to be reviewed. Only after eligibility is passed, the security is initiated which is the last stage and is done by agencies such as CBSA and RCMP.

Thanks for the short explanation. Do you know at which stage biometrics information will be required?

May I possibly ask one more question? I'm going to do the bio tmr. After that, what is the next stage?
