I feel that if Biometrics is not given from our end, IRCC will not process our application. They will better choose an application which has everything complete coz that's easier for them. I hope VFS India starts opening appointments for PR applicants too by mid-Jan, 21.
Not happening in Jan as per the latest tweets :(

In the same boat except my AOR is NOV 26. Is Biometrics open in the US? I have not thought about it yet.
Good Luck and Yes Biometric is Open in US, If you have any VAC center closer to your place you can get it done in a day or two otherwise you have to schedule at USCIS ASC center and for that the appointment is available only after 2 weeks.

FSW Inland, AOR - Nov 5, MEP - Dec 16, BIL - No Update

Hello Everyone,

I have a question. My Medicals were passed on 16 Dec but there is no update about my Biometrics. I haven't given biometrics to IRCC in the past, but I submitted my RCMP criminality check letter with my application. During my RCMP criminality check, they took my photo and fingerprints.
My wife gave her biometrics in 2019. Her biometrics details have been updated.
Do I need to give biometrics or would CIC consider my RCMP criminality check in lieu of biometrics?

If anyone has any experience regarding please share.

Thanks.
Hey did you receive any update on BIL?

For dependent previous Biometrics were updated but PA still waiting for BIL
Is there anyone who has to receive BIL and usually how long will it take for BIL after MEP?

I believe you are Inland category candidate? Usually for Inland applicants I have noticed that MEP sometime comes 1-2 week after BIL. So no need to worry.

Thank you.
Hey. Thanks I just checked as well because of you and mine is passed as well as of 23rd Dec. So phew. Did you get BIL? For mine it says “We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.”

I had given biometrics in 2015 so maybe not required because of that.
