Thank you, that’s what I thought. That basically means there’s no point to order notes from IRCC any more, because why pay for checking 1 month outdated information, when you want to see the most recent one. Only CBSA notes all the way then.
This is all anecdotal. There CBSA notes that were generated immediately after the request was filed and release the the 30 days time frame expired. When you derive any conclusions based on anecdotal evidence, it will be hit or miss.

IRCC and CBSA, both have to release the information under the same law, i.e. Access to Information Act. As per section 7, they have 30 days within which they have to release the information.

IRCC has been experiencing delays and sending extensions. IRCC in its 2019-2020 report stated that 49% of the requests were delayed, and 6% of the requests took longer than 120 days to be released. You can read more on this here.

No agency will provide real time information.

Got a request to submit IMM5669 form with the below statement.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:

 Schedule A: Please provide an updated and completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. Please note that you must provide details since the age of 18 or the past 10 years. Be sure to not leave any gaps.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did anyone get this request before ?
That form is not having enough space to fill the college name and degree details.
Can we keep one extra sheet and fill all those required details instead of filling the table given in that form ?
Should we need to fill school details also ? or only college details are enough ?
Please suggest.

Relatively speaking yes CBSA can provide recent updates compared to IRCC, and this is not just anecdotal. In some cases it may make sense to request information from IRCC instead of CBSA, here is a detailed comparison https://bit.ly/34nuJPu

Now these kinds of statements are more than anecdotal, this is make believe and misinformation

For CBSA, if your security screening is in progress, or has been initiated, unless the GCMS notes can be captured and do not delay the working of the agency, they will seek an extension, and as as soon as it your notes can be released they will, but surely before the extension time frame expires.

Best to start with sending in a web form to inquire about the status

There isn't much need for Gcms Notes if you are able to call and inquire about the status.

hello people,

I would really appreciate if some can explain following queries

I have submitted my application on 4th nov 2020. But in a year I'll be 29. So, what happens if my application has not been processed till then?
Would it be rejected or i will get an exemption?
Another thing I would like to ask is, how IRCC handles a file which has completed a year since its submission and a decision hasn't been made?
