My wife got an email saying that they are now checking to see if she is eligible to be sponsored. I don't know what ecas stands for or Aor2

They actually send an email for eligibility has started ???

ecas is Electronic Client Application System, is where you get updates on your application online.
Aor2 is Acknowledgement of Receipt - is when you get confirmation that your VO has started processing your application on ecas.
