UPDATE: Called the IRCC contact number 1-888-242-2100 and spoke with an agent. Wait time was roughly around 20 mins. My email address on file was missing an alphabet. Unfortunately, the agent is not permitted to change email addresses for callers. I was given a link to update my email address which takes about 5 business days. I will call back around next week to confirm if the update was successful.

Anyway, the agent was kind enough to give me my application number and confirmed that everything is OK with my application.

thats why i hate paper form. electronic info is much more accurate.

I received my AOR today just 4 hrs ago. Can't remember when did I send my application but it was in the last week of november and I did send it as express and I do not know when did they receive it because I lost the tracking number SMH.

I was trying to link my application to my account but it is not even giving me those options. For citizenship category it is only showing 2 sub-categories:
1. Proof of citizenship
2. Search of citizenship

can someone please tell me when can I link my application and how?

I don't think we can link citizenship grant application for now. Unfortunate.

Its as per what I see in ECAS and due to reasons unknown it's different from Canada Post delivery date.

Does anyone know how can I check the status of my application?

I am using this form https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html

and it can not find my application no matter what. I tried all combinations. Is the only way to get around this is to call in?

Can't we link this application with our CIC account?
