Yes I agree. I think it does not give an useful measure of what we should expect. It gives an idea of how much we are all delayed though. Sometimes it seems like I am the only one, but we are all in the same situation.

At this point I am less worried. They can't hold pending applications forever. Originally they might have planned to secretly sweep FSW program under the rug and cancel pending applications when the time's right, but they have missed the best chance to do so. I am sure now they have realized when the Afghanistan excuse stops holding up, they will have to discuss all that they have done in bright daylight soon. Provinces have been pissed off that's why they started processing PNPs and never bothered screwing FSW at Montreal VO. I can't wait but see lawyers and conservative MPs gang up with tech companies and other FSW-favoring industries to pressure the media to give them a really bad look to the public.

Not sure any of that is ever going to happen

Dont do upfront medical .. because I did the same. My first medical was expired on 12 September 2020..I did upfront medical and sent to cic via web form . But they didn't consider the same. On January 18 I got re medical request . When I booked my medical from sps ludhiana ,they informed me that I was not eligible to re do medical as the previous one was not 6 months old. So they contacted RMO and linked my upfront medical to my file. Hence I passed my remedical in 22 January. But still waiting for PPR .. eagerly waiting ..

So, you were advised to do re-medical, but the clinic declined because your results are not more than 6 months old, eventually your original/upfront medical was linked and, technically, you passed because of that? Did I understand that correctly?

As you are PNP, there are bright chances to get your Ready for Visa mail within a Week to within a month based on the ongoing trend. Congratulations in Advance.

Really? Is the same true for outland applicants? I received PNP from Alberta. AOR October 16, 2021. Waiting for further updates..
Also, my husband has an EE application in the pool. Can someone please share how to best handle that? If we should withdraw his application or if it's okay that it stay as is? We're worried and unsure how this affects my current application.

We are talking about 2019 AOR - PNP..... not about 2021 AOR PNP as of now ....

Looks like from last 15-20 days - IRCC has stopped working on Nov 2019 applications.
Noticed they are working fast on 2021 applications. Not sure what's going to happen to Nov 2019 applications.

The majority of the resources are for CEC applications and Afghanistan, so they are working mainly on 2021 applications. The resources assigned to process backlogs are way less, so they are going way slower.

Yeah saw 4-5 PPRs for Jan 2020 AOR from Ottawa today already. Seems like they've forgotten about 2019s. :(

Got RFV (for dependent applicant in India) on Nov 5, 2021
AOR Nov 2019
PNP Ontario (Primary applicant received PR in Mar 2020 already in Canada)
Remedicals requested by IRCC in Oct 2021, remedicals done in Oct 2021
Processing office Halifax
Constant follow up using webform and from Canadian MP (as my spouse was already in Canada)

Hey guys,
I received the golden mail yesterday.
AOR 7 nov 2019
PPR 5 nov 2021
VO Ottawa
FSW-O
Remedical done in Jan 2021
This makes me super happy. To see someone from Nov 2019 getting a PPR. I was starting to feel anxious (am Nov 12, 2019, AOR) when Dec 2019 AOR applicants started receiving PPRs.

September 2019 here lol! Still ignored. But happy for those whose wait is finally over.
I hope the rest of your Canadian journey goes smoother. This was a hard door-opener for sure, and you survived the wait, the uncertainty, the feeling of being ignored, etc. Best of luck!
