@legalfalcon I applied for GCMS notes from CBSA. I went through them as soon as it came in today. But one entry really disturbed me, not sure whether this was a human error from IRCC or from someone from the Visa Centres. Please help me to understand this:

I did my biometrics on 2019/12/04 and I see an entry in my GCMS notes which says Name on Application Changed on that same date.

Label - General
Text - Name on Application changed: Old Value(s): #####, India
New Value(s):#####, Iceland
Created by - EAICIBIDS
Created Date - 2019/12/04 01:30:21 AM
Office - GCMS-System

The old value and new value have the same name & date of birth but the place changed from India to Iceland (Usually Iceland appears above India in the drop-down list). I am from India. Was this a human error, and if yes on whose part? The VAC (VFS Global) who takes care of biometrics or IRCC?

Thankfully on 2020/05/21, I see another update:

Label - General
Text - Name on Application changed: Old Value(s): #####,Iceland
New Values(s): ####, India

Office - Centralized Intake Office

So now it's updated back to India, though after 5 months.
Should I be concerned? Is there a course of action for me here?

Overall my application status is: Open, and App status reason is: In progress. So no hope there. Still waiting.
Under Assessments, I see Eligibility, Criminality, and Medical are passed. Security and Final are left blank.

Noting to be concerned about, this is just a transcription error and will be taken care of.

Could you tell the date you ordered your notes from CBSA?

@legalfalcon - Have you seen or known any such cases (FSW-O) where IRCC, in order to make a decision, has asked to provide an updated residential address for the primary applicant and any dependent in order to continue the processing of the application for Permanent Residence? I am asking as I got one such request letter from IRCC yesterday, but my understanding was that such a request is only sent to inland folks. Any thoughts?

Thanks. I requested mine on May 26 and still waiting. I don't understand this.
It is strange. Did you apply via an agency or something? I asked my friend who is a Canadian PR to apply on my behalf. Applied both to IRCC and CBSA. IRCC I haven't got a response yet (that's their reputation now). CBSA I had got an email last week saying "You have submitted an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) consent form authorizing IRCC to release records to the chosen representative. In order for Canada Borders Services Agency (CBSA) to release records to the chosen representative, you will be required to fill out and submit the attached CBSA consent form: " So I did that and got the notes 2 days ago. Not sure if this helps.

IRCC can seek any additional information and verification of address being the most common.

Hello, I have a query. my dependents noc is 4165 and had greater than 3 years of experience at the time of AOR. However, when received notes, found this in dependent details. Tried to search for this noc. Does anyone know what is the problem? Should we take any action against it ?

Requesting your input for this

That's crazy. I requested mine through a friend in Canada via IRCC on July 12 too, it's been 2 months, absolutely no clue, send two follow ups too. I guess I should order another one through CBSA now.

Order with CBSA, they are sending it within 30 days (as far as I have seen). IRCC has had far more complaints about not being able to provide GCMS notes within the timeframe. So you will have more luck with CBSA. I submitted mine to both IRCC and CBSA the same day. I received CBSA's last week within 30 days, IRCC's no clue as of now.

Sure, that helps, will do that. This is the first time I ordered GCMS since AOR, just wanted to know if the application is approved.
