You can sure travel to Canada if you are exempt from the travel restrictions. However, there are many inland applicants who have been waiting forever even though their GCMS notes say that it is approved.
Thanks..Yes same thought came in my mind how they can priorities my application if inland are still waiting... Struggle in india is better than struggle in canada... Will wait and watch....

Hi everyone,
My AOR is Nov 8th and all the stages are complete as per the webform reply that I raised in June. Only PPR is due but it is totally uncertain as I applied from India. My medicals are expiring this week so I wanted to check if someone raised any webform in such scenario and what reply they got.

The processing times for all programs have increased. As per the 2019 annual report the average time now is 8-9 months, and this was pre-covid.

<https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/express-entry-year-end-report-2019.html>

How long did it take to process an Express Entry application?
Table 35 displays the time, in months, that IRCC took to process 80% of applications under each program. In 2019, IRCC did not meet the processing standard of finalizing 80% of all applications sourced via Express Entry within six months. The processing time for Express Entry, overall, was eight months. As an alternative measure of processing times, 60% of applications finalized in the 12-month period ending on December 31, 2019, were completed within the six-month service standard.

Table 35: Processing Times for Express Entry applications finalized by year and immigration category, in months
Program201720182019
Canadian Experience Class457
Federal Skilled Worker469
Provincial/Territorial Nominee669
Federal Skilled Trades6712

Subsequent to this, IRCC also published the evaluation of Express Entry upon the completion of 5 years of express entry in May 2020. A lot of recommendation have been made in it.

No, you don't have to retake medicals. It means your medicals validity has been extended.
All the best with your application.

Can someone please tell me how long it takes to get GCMS notes? I applied on the 28th of Sep but still haven't received them.

As per section 7 of the Access to Information Act, IRCC has to release the GCMS notes within 30 days.

7 Where access to a record is requested under this Part, the head of the government institution to which the request is made shall, subject to sections 8 and 9, within 30 days after the request is received.

@legalfalcon

So just to put mind to rest, how long maximum can IRCC take to complete criminality, pending action is the review of RCMP fingerprints and awaiting info from other countries. We have hit 12 months mark can it take 24 months? This is just to gauge the max IRCC can keep applications with them what if they don't receive info from other countries for another 18 months etc ...
