My case was in similar timelines, I renewed my passport just to be on safer side as PPR's are delayed big time without any clear timelines as of now. Please make sure to raise a webform to update the new passport details immediately you got it renewed.
Thanks

Glad to see so many outlanders are staying positive. The longer I keep on waiting the more conspiratorial things come to mind. I hope they are not waiting for the opportunity to reject us all.. there's no reason to, right?

Hi, I just call from CIC.. she was confirming information about my address, travel history, employment status.. she said that she is calling regarding some background
check.. I am so worried that she did not confirmed anything. Is it something to worry??

How on earth do people get IRCC on the phone?? I have a job to go to now as a Registered Nurse but my employer is asking when I can arrive. Everything is valid/approved in our application but no COPR issued to outland applicants. I'm beyond annoyed at the moment with the lack of clarity of planning from them. We have an offer on our house to sell it and I don't want to agree to any of it incase we don't get our visas and we're left with nothing. It really isn't good enough. I understand it's a difficult time but surely the must have some sort of plan!
Your best bet is to raise a CSE asking about it because you're an essential worker. You could also apply for a temp work permit as an essential worker

I've already raised a webform twice with them now, latest one back yesterday just quoted the same old "delayed because of covid". I can't get the temporary work permit because i'd need an LMIA as a Registered Nurse, which they can't process at the moment. Nightmare!

Hello folks !

I have been waiting for PPR since 8 months now ! I got my AOR on 6th November 2019 ..I was expecting a PPR by April or May 2020 .. but i guess Covid delayed processing times ! I have raised around 5/6 webforms but each answered a genric response stating that file is still processing and security is not initiated .. Anybody sailing in the same boat ? Can somebody guide on how to call IRCC from India and is calling even helpful ? Thanks in Advance !!

I think requesting GCMS notes is the best option to understand in-depth about your case.

Calling IRCC is useless... They will also give a generic reply ... Sometime they even sound quite rude. Most of us are waiting for PPR request ... mine is 20 nov AOR .... Still waiting .... If you are too curious and concerned about your application try ordering GCMS notes. These days its been processed in 2 weeks time . It will give you the true picture of where your application stands.

Interesting due date. Not sure if it means anything but that's when current US-Canada border restriction is set to expire.

Are you an Outland applicant from the US?
