I have a question. I created my express entry profile last year Feb and i have been working in a company since may 2017 but held three jobs with similar job duties since and they all fall under noc b. but someone guided me that i can make a EE profile and put the same company that i am working at starting may and i dont have to mention different jobs as their job duties are similar. afterwards i got nominated by ON and when i filled forms I provided all the jobs and their duties to PNP now i have got ITA and i want to change it in my EE profile to provide the right information. Can I change information in my EE profile without making my profile invalid or ineligible? I want to keep the same information. I was misguided by an immigration consultant and now I am worried.

When you add a work experience to your profile, you can just add the current employer, and in the reference letter mention all the designations you have held. Alternatively, you can create work reference designations for the same company and upload the work reference letter thrice.

As per IRCC a reference or experience letter from the employer
  • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits

Answering your question here. As per IRCC:

  • or the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
  • This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.
Hope this helps!
