Hi all, I received my PPR late last night.

AOR 2 Nov 2019
COR South Africa
Remed June 2021
VO Ottawa
Visa officer EM5578

One question though, since my last remed was in June 2021, I'll probably have to land before June? Is it too late to go for upfront remeds, I'm worried I won't be able to land before then?

Congratulations for your PPR! Unfortunately, your entry visa's validity can't be longer than the validity of your medical exam, and you can't get another medical exam after PPR.

If they didn't extend your medical, you'll have to land before that date. Though seriously, we're in mid March man. Landing until June is not a big deal if there isn't an extreme emergency going on in your life.

@legalfalcon Can you help me with following question ?
what is Native Language in Appendix A ? It should be our Mother Tongue (In my case, Tamil) or First Official Language ( English) ?
I could not recall if this question is asked in express entry profile creation. I have claim points for Ielts in english.

Native language is the language you have spoken since childhood. If it is Tamil, then enter that.

If you are getting married before you intend to land in Canada, you will have to inform IRCC and add your spouse to your application even if a COPR has been issued to you.

If your marriage is not too far into the future, you can inform IRCC and seek an extension for a couple of weeks. However, if it is a few months away, you should consider getting a COPR now.

Hi all, I wanted to know if I need to inform IRCC of my travel updates for the purpose of tourism outside my home country. Since IRCC is taking forever to come up with a decision I plan to go on a vacation in April. Just wanted to know if I need tell IRCC about the updated travel history?
I had received an ADR for my spouse and myself asking for Travel History in December 2021 which I submitted in January 2022.

@legalfalcon can you please share your thoughts? My application (FSW-O, Nov-19 AoR) is at the same stage regarding the A39-A41 check since January 2021 and there has been no change as per multiple GCMS notes received so far.
It shows Type: Non-compliance, Status: Not started, Activity#: 1-L89TM9A. Only the 'assigned to' agent was changed in Dec 2021 but no progress after that.
1. Do all applications go through the similar A39-A41 check or is it for selective ones only?
2. Is it normal to be stuck at the same status for more than a year? Have you seen such a case before?
3. Any suggestion from you about what I can do now except wait?

Your response will be much appreciated.
