could you please confirm something. Once you received COPR via email and in your online account. Next step was just mailing photo + COPR to IRCC, correct? other than that did you do any additional steps online PRIOR to linking your account?

You can link your PR card application to account before/after sending photo+COPR to IRCC. Because your pr card application was created while IRCC issuing your CoPR(Not sure it is manually done by the officer or by the system). I have linked my+family applications before sending the photo and I can see those applications are created on may 28th(the day I received my COPR). I have sent the photo+CoPR only on June 9th and it is reached on 18th.

Canada resumes visitor visa and eTA processing July 1
Travel restrictions still apply but IRCC will once again process online visitor visa and eTA applications to the best of its ability.

Canada is once again processing online applications for visitor visas and electronic travel authorizations as of July 1.

Though travel restrictions still apply, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is resuming processing in an effort to be proactive on future processing times, according to a media release.

IRCC also notes that due to current travel restrictions, most people will not be able to travel to Canada at this time. Travel exemptions are for family members who are staying for more than 15 days or who are coming to Canada for an essential reason, skilled workers, and others. Travellers must also demonstrate to the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) that they are travelling for an essential reason in order to be granted entry to Canada.

IRCC is also processing online applications for study permits, work permits, and permanent residence. No paper applications for these immigration documents will be accepted for now.

Honestly, at the moment, there's nothing we can do but sit and dream about things happen tom and the day after, next week, next month, soon, hopeful, virtual landing, Mailing PR cards straight out to international homes, all sorts!

It says it will extends until Aug 31st! It says in the same link you sent!!

That's about the quarantine. But you know what, we are just 30 days away from official anouncement of Aug 31 for travel ban, I hope I'm terribly wrong on this one.

that's strange. I tried linking but it says 'no applications found'. I tried twice - once using family name+given name+DOB combo and once using UCI+Family name.

Do you mind sharing if you did anything additional once after you received COPRs over email. I assume you just sent COPRs + photos in mail to the concerned address on your COPR, right?

I didn't do anything extra. I've been able to link mine plus 2 dependents but the 3rd dependent still cannot be added. So, not sure what's going on..

The search is case sensitive, so at the place of place of birth, enter exactly as mentioned in the passport.

Anyone has been in the sane situation where their Biometric has not been asked for?

People who have already given biometric for any type of visa inside Canada; they are not asking for biometric again. As for me I have already given biometric last year when I got my work visa so now they don’t need to get it again. I came to know from the immigration agent when I asked him regarding my biometric.

Tired, still there is no proper communication from them, they should clearly say whether they will issue ppr or not if they are issuing when?, again confusion here..

It seems most of the applicant here under CEC/ pnp/ FSW Stream. I didn’t notice any under federal skilled trade.
Anyway under (federal skilled trade )can you guys please share you timelines and where your application stands now?

I applied my gcms notes on 28 june. I got temporary request tracking number and was told that i would be given a permanent no ,which will mark the start of my processing of gcms notes. Till now ,i haven't received any permanent no. Can someone let me know the procedure?

This is normal, when I applied few months ago I was given temp no and the notes came in 4 weeks,
