Thanks for reply.
'Your visa office is outside Canada?' is one of the question. How to answer that question and submit the form???
I did not encounter this question when I submitted webform, so will need inputs from other more experienced members of this forum.

Hi everyone, any clue why my application (in-land FSW) in which I have chosen ON as my target province is being processed in Calagary, Alberta!? So far, more than 6 months have passed and also at the end of January I paid RPRF upon request.

Hi Tash_z,

My timelines are quite similar to yours. I was trying to raise a webform but it asks me for my visa office, i have no idea about that. Can you please tell how you did you get that detail.

Thanks

Hi,
I just selected no whil raising webform, the email reply I got had signature of NewbDelhi visa office that is how I figured our my VO.

Hope I am right in thinking the VO mentioned in my webform reply signature is my VO.
Also, let me know if you get any sensible reply from New Delhi VO, as mine was nothing but a message that the services are delayed due to Covid-19.

Lads, let's be honest, we would be very fortunate if we get our PPRs this month or even next month for that matter.
I had a fascinating conversation with an agent last Friday, found out that my application was approved on March 20th (AOR Nov 12th, CEC Inland). Since it was approved after March 18th, it's on hold for a formidable future!

After asking a few cheeky questions, I was gutted to find out that we won't be receiving PPRs until the federal employees are back at the office, which is basically when you can start submitting your passports and the borders are open. The option for approving PPRs through a phone is only applicable for the applicants whose applications were approved prior to March 19th.

So yeah, brace yourself for long bloody frustrating days or even months ahead! And just saying, instead of asking useless questions like whats the application status?

We all should be considering asking the most quintessential question "when will they restart passport submission and COPR process"?

Thanks for the insight. I see your point.
But, I would ask the regular questions regarding the status of the application and ask them about the passport submission. It's both, and not one. Although there is a chance that they might not get back with a clear answer on when they would restart opening the passport submission. At the end of the day, the partial economy re-opening is being evaluated on progressively. I would opt and probably rely more on online sources and the PM's (or others') live statements.

Federal govt workers are currently working remotely else they wont be processing application. Right now they are trying to determine how to do landing for inland applicants and I am sure that plan is already determined. They are waiting for provinces to open up and office work begins. The border is tentatively scheduled to be opened on 21. Most office related work will be opening as from May 21 and then we can expect ppr emails.

@tomdele thanks a lot for the insight. Please If I may ask, what’s your source for the info above—as relates to opening of the border, landing for inland applicants, and PPR emails? What about Outland applicants too? Any clues? Thanks!

Hi guys, I have just received a reply from raised webform last week. 2 months ago on gcsm note, my eligibility marked met and the rest wasn't started, but their reply here on eligibility seems a bit weird. Did anyone have the same reply?

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your permanent residence application.

  • Your application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
  • The responsible office reviewed the eligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid. "
@legalfalcon do you have any thought, please?

I was checking posts from OCTOBER AOR group - and they have started to get PPR now which is one month past their 6month processing, some are getting COPR directly and being asked to submit photos for PR card. I guess NOVEMBER AOR will start getting PPR next month in JUNE which is one month past 6month processing time.
