Hey I wanna know if its required to bring eye glasses even u don't use? What kind of vision test do they make?
They do the normal ones but they will ask you to do it with and without the eyeglasses
The medical request letter states:
What must I bring to my appointment?
- Eyeglasses or contact lenses, if worn.
Well, if you've been for an eye test and have been told you need glasses then you'll need to bring them and wear them. If you've got a fashionista pair that do nothing but make you look fancy then, no, you don't need them.

Every time I mention I'm in the process of moving here, that's the first thing they ask. I live in "The South" so it's even more prevalent.Escaping Trump?

My PA is also from Philippines. We went to IOM on February 4. I am the sponsor but in Philippines currently and went to IOM with my wife. Only took about 2-3 hours (mostly waiting for our turn) and we had Medical passed after 1 day. We booked IOM through SMS and it was very easy for us. Note they are cash only and better to get there early.
I based the decision to go to IOM instead of St Lukes based off this thread:

Medical scheduled for March 8th because it coincides with opening day of Six Flags! Making a fun trip out of it. Cost of exam is $475. Ouch.
I checked ECAS and it says "we sent you medical instructions on February 19, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
Neither me or my wife (PA) have received any email. Can someone confirm if there is a delay in emails? Also, from where can I book the medical test.
