November 2018 Outland Applicants (Spousal Sponsorship)

We haven't received AOR yet. Can someone please share the process (step-by-step) of linking the application to GCKey. My wife (principal applicant) has a GCKey account. I know her password, so I can use her account. As a sponsor, I have not created a GCKey account for myself yet.

I have applied since November 09

Application received November 19

I can’t link the application online from the receipt. What do I do???? I being trying to call immigration and no luck. They have high volume of calls.

I was able to link ours on Friday evening after work. I sent in a webform under technical issues and was advised to give it a another go in the response I received.

If I was still unable to, I should send a screenshot of the details I was putting in and the error message as well.

Ask your husband to do a screenshot and send it through webform. I am all linked up now.

Do not panic, you need acknowledge of receipt from them first! It doesn't work to link the application sometimes but works at one point.

I just spoke to an immigration officer and she said that we should not worry if you can’t link your application. Technically you can’t link it till you receive your AOR1 by email. Just hoping for those who are in the same boat we will receive something soon
 
Hi everyone, I managed to link our application successfully last week to my account (im the PA and had an account from a visitor extension in 2018). My question is is it ok for just me to have an account or should my husband (the sponsor) have one too? I know you can only link the application to one account so wasn't sure if both of us need to have one of it's already linked to mine?

A single linked account will do.

I haven't heard any response yet after almost 3 months... anyone have the similar situation like me?
  • Application package sent on Oct 31 via UPS
  • Delivered on Nov 2 according to UPS tracking.
 
Anyone here who had AOR last month but have not received medical request yet? It’s been a month since we had sponsorship approval but no MR yet. It’s been a month since the last update.
 
Got our AOR1 tonight! (While at Disney no less!} Submitted and arrived Noveber 19th!!! So.excited!!

We received a medical request today but still no AOR or SA

Received: Nov 13, 2018
AOR: Nothing
Linked: Jan 17, 2019
Medical Request: Jan 21, 2019
