Yeah, I've seen that too, but I take it with a grain of salt. It's hard to really know if people are misunderstanding the call centre agent (who is maybe just being kind of vague or not understanding the question), if the call centre agents themselves are misinformed, or if they really are stating definitively they could be processed completely in Sydney from now on. I guess the only way to really find out is to see what happens with you all as a group. You're the trailblazers for everyone else, unfortunately!
Yeah very true . all the information they have handy is this process gonna take 12 months. but if they could at least explain why the hold up it can actually calm down people. because now everyone know they can actually finish the process in months.

Thank you guys for your responses, let’s see what happens and when it happens ... the uncertainty is definitely a frustration but more so because the case is so straight forward and still taking so long!

So I finally checked my status on ECas after seeing no update on Gckey. So second line says they have started the process on 21st March and i got additional documents request on 14th march. What does it means? They have started my BGC according to gckey.

Hey guys i am sending my requested documents through email but its say its too large. Can you guys tell whats the maximum limit of mb i can send online

Just to update: we got the pre-arrival email today, so that's definitely what the ghost update yesterday was about!

Hi,

I would suggest that you compress the file first and than send via (you have 3 options) :
1. Email it to them
2. Send a web form with all the documents that they asked for.
3. Upload it on GCKeys account (when you login you will see a link to view or upload documents)

I did the same when they asked for additional documents (photos and other documents).

Hope this helps good luck :)

Where to go to send through web form? Can u explain that to me please

I think webform allow us only 3.5 gb in total

That's true what I did while sending my additional documents was :

I copied all my pictures in a word file and put a description about each picture and print as pdf while doing that you will have an option to compress your file and it helped.

For all November applicants who still have not heard anything after medicals passed. I called CIC this morning to see what is going on and was told that my husband's file is still in Sydney and that a file can be completed in Canada and will only be transferred to VO to finish the process (doubtful) but just wanted to pass on what I was told so basically we are still in limbo. I do wish you all the best in your journey and hopefully our loved ones will be with us soon.

They are telling this 'complete process in Canada' to many . Hope it is true .
