From the timeline provided, it seems like the OWP (Oct. 25) was sent 5 days before the PR application (Oct. 30). I've seen situations where people have sent the OWP separately after the PR app was sent. But since the inland PR app is a prerequisite to be eligible for the OWP, I wonder if they would process it the same way if it was received the other way around?
Oh I though OWP was sent after PR application was sent, my bad, this is the first time I see a case like this where OWP was sent before PR application, I don't know if CIC would treat it the same or not
I don't know if they might go look and see if the principal applicant actually submitted a PR application after and they'll process because they didn't return OWP( sometimes they do that with visitor extension) or if they'll refuse based on submitting it before PR
The problem is you can't really know with CIC

You cannot submit the OWP app before the inland spousal app. Will be refused/returned.

I sent PR application to Missauge, also sent OWP and extend visa as the same day. But the Post Delayed PR application ( although I used service Post tranfer one day to received) because i am in Calgary. So the OWP And Extend visa received firstly (Oct 25) before the PR received (Oct 30).

CIC uses the date it was sent not received because they understand mail delays so don't worry you should be fine

My spousal sponsorship application was received July 26, but my OWP application was received November 6. I just checked, and there was an update on my OWP. Review of eligibility now says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." I am so happy, my husband's current work permit is expiring Feb 28

Hey guys, I have a question regarding visitor extension. My visitor status expires March 26th, I'm wondering if I need to submit my visitor extension application one month before it expires? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,

I recall in the PR application it was asked if either one of us is pregnant. In my case I’m the sponsor and I was not at the time but now 3 months pregnant. Do we need to update this piece of info with IRCC? If so, via what method?
Thx!

Congrats on your pregnancy :)
You don't have to inform them about your pregnancy until birth

Yes, I did. It was submitted along with my sponsorship application back in November.
If you submitted OWP and you got your AOR you don't need to submit visitor extension, when your visitor status expires OWP will give you implied status, you will hopefully get your OWP soon
