Yeah we do have all the proofs. My concern is like we got the shared expenses (phone bills, internet bills and credit card statements). How many bills should we put in file. Like each bill for Any one month would be enough or we should put atleast 3-4 months bills for each thing. You need proof that you have lived together consecutively for 12 months.

Yes. For the bank acct, you can go to the bank to request for ur bank statement which would be addressed directly to cic. Got mine from TDOk so it means 3-4 months bill of phone.
3-4 for internet
And same for bank account statement.
We are doing ours too on our own. We pray and hope not to need the services of a lawyer. Just make sure you provide all that is on the checklist and you will be fine. U can always ask questions on anything when in doubt. Wish you all the best.Ok thank you so much.
Actually I’m really confused because we are doing it on our own without hiring a lawyer.
I really appreciate your help.
And for the letter from friends family. Can we submit the printouts of scanned letter. Because it will require signatures and friends who are living in another country can only send the scanned
Dont see a problem with using scanned copies as long as it is signed.
My common law partner and I had also done the application by ourselves, we had just received AOR for our application received November 22.And for the letter from friends family. Can we submit the printouts of scanned letter. Because it will require signatures and friends who are living in another country can only send the scanned letters.
No worries my friend. We are all in the same boat. 2019 is our year of good testimony. All the bestOk
You are a great help.
I’m feeling a lot relaxed.
Yeah i look forward to getting help through this forum. My common law partner and I had also done the application by ourselves, we had just received AOR for our application received November 22.
I would submit the printout of scanned letters. - we didnt include letters with our application, instead we included proof of our relationship via social media (relationship status, pictures on facebook, instagram) as well as photos with him (principal applicant) and my entire family.
As to prove the common law status, we included his flight itinerary because his passport wasn't stamped upon entry, proof of lease, joined bank account. Any bill that is in both your names should be included in the application.
Happy to help if you have any other questions.
