Thank you for the suggestion. I will give that a try after the new year. I sent a letter directly to the local office, but I’m not sure if it helped (or even was read). I’ve been waiting for an invitation since early September....at this point, even if they sent an invitation now, that would put it over 14 months. It is disappointing to see others completed in 7-10 months.....but not a whole lot that can be done I suppose

The test was done on the 10 of December. Myself and my wife passed with 19 out of 20. The interview was good. They wanted to clarify a few dates. On the Ecas status shows in process till date. Is it normal ?

We received the invite for Nov. 26, but we requested that our test date be rescheduled because we are out of the country. Waiting for the new invitation.

They would reschedule that for you in a future date. In the case I know about, the new date was 4 months later, and the new invitation arrived by mail. The oath was then scheduled another 4 months after that. That was in Scarborough.

Looking for recommendation, my test is on Jan,8/2020 but i haven't received invite letter by MAIL. I have only received email. What should i do? Is this normal? and What documents should I bring with me on TEST/Interview day?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 19, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 23, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on January 28, 2019.
4. We sent you a notice on December 12, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 8, 2020 at 12:45 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Congratulations for step near to Citizenship. In many post same situations were faced by our members, it will better to send web request as well as personal phone call on 6th January,2019. If you contact them from 8 AM of NS Atlantic time when EST time will be 7AM then waiting will be below 10 minutes.

You only receive email no mail. Its just the way they worded Ecas status sounds loke there will be mail as well but it is not

We did our test on December 10th at Mississauga. It’s getting close to being a month. We have heard anything and the status shows in progress. The wait is killing. Is this normal ? When should we expect any further movement ? Pray it happens soon. Thanks
