Hi,

Please I need help.

I applied with my wife and son (7 years) in November 2018. application received Nov 26, 2018. They started processing on Feb 14, 2019. We took our test on May 28. the officer asked me to send her some documents to prove some travels which I sent the same day, nothing from my wife or son.
My application status changed to "Decision made" on June 3rd but my wife's application status is still in process.

Anyone can explain why they may change my status and keep my wife's? although we applied as a family?

I really appreciate your help!!!

Hi guys, tomorrow morning i have my test. I am ready...however just wanted to clarify what i need to bring in terms of documents...they say all originals documents that support your citizenship as listed on the Document Checklist. I think everything original and signed was sent to CIC so i dont have the original.....apart from my LINC language certificate level.....i think....what else are they referring to?

They asked for my Language certificate and passports (valide and expired ones for the past 5 years), Landing page, PR Card, Driver license, Medical card, and I also brought a copy of the payment. I brought more that they asked, just in case.

Most process are not started, just passed criminal check... is it normal ?

Congrats. I just got my test invite which is scheduled for 4th of July. Can you please share how did you prepare for the test and for how long?

I am on line 52.
Both and I wife wrote our test this noon with score 20/20.

Order of interview and length was kind of a random, we both wrote our test within a couple of minutes. Waited for more than an hour for interview and were interviwed together (some couple were interviewd seperately and they took a long time (>30min), not sure why). We were asked why I travelled alone without my wife and where we studied in Canada. Other than PR card, passports (that were valid during eligibilty period and used to apply for PR), drivers licences and copy of invitation emaisl, we were not asked anything else. I did offer the officer if he is willing to see our proofs of language, health cards and previous passports (expired during the eligibility period and never used in Canada), but the officer was not interested to see those. It lasted around 5-10 minutes.

The other update is one of my friend who got test invite in Scarborough was provided the results within an Hour of test. The family was called next day for the oath ceremony in Scarborough.

I will update what happens with me.

You can call CIC as one of my friend had applied in July 2018 and no response from CIC. She called up and got information that her email is in queue to be sent to her. As of now no email has been received.

The other update is one of my friend who got test invite in Scarborough was provided the results within an Hour of test. The family was called next day for the oath ceremony in Scarborough.

I will update what happens with me.
