I called up CIC today and was told that my background check is completed and updated and the file is at Mississauga office.. I believe I may receive the test invite shortly ? Right?
I think Missisauga office is slow compare to Scarborough and Calgary?

Friends - Question - Please help.

My wife's name on the transcript will be before marriage name.

After marriage her Passport , PR card and everything here is on new name.

What document(s) I need to submit for her for English language proof along with the Transcript

There are two documents accepted by CIC, namely:1- proof of marriage certificate which shows her previous name or 2- change of name certificate from province of Ontario.

For proof of language all she need show is her certificate written in English to show she went to an English speaking school or and old IELTS result if she has any in the past 5 years

Today I called and they confirmed received on March 20th.
Agent said background check is done, next step is test invitation which depends on local office's rush/backlog.

Not essentially the certificate of name change from Ontario, it may be from any province or territory where the applicant resided at the time of name change.

Finally got Decision Made yesterday April 4, 2019 after 2 weeks of submitting fingerprint. Please update accordingly.

FYI, in my case I received fingerprint request 3 days after I passed my test on March 15.

Family of 2 here and our local office is Calgary.. been In process since Jan 31. Im seeing the last of Calgary applicants whose In process date is same as us (Jan 31) got the test invite already. Im wondering whats going on. we didnt get anything just yet. Im getting worried.

Unfortunately, I forgot to check the travel verification box on my husband's application on Feb 13 they send the pack and we check the box and send the pack same day. Today we receive all of our AOR's.
