So I called CIC to check what's the status of my application.
the guy on call informed me that according to their systems they are processing files delivered Nov 9 which I am guessing means that they have started processing all the files delivered before Nov 9.

Any comments?

I guess ECAS status will be updated by Tuesday if not sooner. Haven’t checked yet.

Updated and should be updated and reflectes in ecas as of today if u received AOR yesterday

I think it is a good guess, their system must show the latest date in which all the prior applications are in process or returned.

I Resubmitted my application after correcting on Jan 15 and they received on Jan 17th. Will mine be considered as January application now ?

The same thing happened to me. I called them up last week to check up on my application and they said they are working on applications received on October 23. But guess what, that same night I received my AOR and my application was delivered on the 19th Nov. So let's hope you see an AOR tonight!

I was told by the CIC agent on the phone that even if your application gets returned you still retain the spot on the day you originally submitted it. So in your case, November. But according to the posts in this forum, this doesn't look to be the case! So I think you will be considered a January applicant now.

Mine was delivered Nov 21 and no AOR yet.
