What is the next step after AOR? Do I wait for another email or do I check Ecas for the application status?
your Ecas will change soon,they will add line: we receive your application on ....,then you have to wait until your application be in process and second line will be added also : we start processing your application on ........
and here start waiting for long time (every case is different )but generally speaking,most applicants wait approx 2-3 months to get an invitation for test(by email and mail also ) ,then after passing test applicants again wait approx 3 months to get an invitation letter to attend ceremony (date and place ceremony )
this what happens to majority applicants but of course there are some applicants wait more ,so you can see the whole process for majority people takes almost 9 months (from the date of sending until the date of ceremony ),but again as i told before some people wait more .
in my case for example ,i will not wait all this period ,after getting AOR,will wait just one email from them ,will do both test and ceremony together (first day will be test ,go to hotel for sleeping ,then second day will be ceremony and will get certificate )this is because i live in very rural area as i told you before ,NorthWestern Ontario ,no CIC center here ,nothing here ,i can tell you that just me live here lol,that's why CIC collects applications from my area and process them together (test and ceremony within 2 days )
