Hi there,
Received test invite today. But the problem is they scheduled me in edmonton office. I called cic last march 19th for request to transfer my application to Yukon Territory as my family have moved here. I am just worried if I emailed CIC edmonton and ask them to transfer my test schedule here in the yukon, that it might result for my application to be longer! Please advise!

Transfer doesnt work over the phone or email. You shud have write a letter to local office for transfer. Now definitely it will delay ur app so if u can manage couple of round trips do that or else send a letter to edmonton in mail requesting transfer

Some of them have. Vast majority havent. Depends a lot on your location.

Good morning I’m glad I found this forum . I am a November 2018 applicant and I have an inquiry:

I have my test on May 16 but my PR card expires on June 2019. Do you guys think if it’s a good idea apply for a PR card renewal at this point? If I apply for a renewal will this affect my citizenship process time?

PR Card is only needed to travel in and out of the Canada.Expired PR card does not make any difference if you are not travelling..I would suggest wait for the Oath and apply Canadian Passport...

Same boat here. I've tried to explain this to my wife but she made me renew them anyway

Request for Finger print for me only-5th March,2019
Finger print sent-6th March,2019
I called them ;they replied -My finger print and other issues are fine and next thing will be waiting for a test date,they told my file is at Scarborough office.

Guys do you think it will be a long wait for test date?
