He said the application is nearing completion and there is no "adverse information" in my file, I just have to be patient. He said he can't send a reminder since my file was touched recently for remedicals.

Hope you get PPR soon!!In my case, criminality of my spouse is still in process. Today I received an email from Ottawa, saying “Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Please note that your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.”. Soooo frustrating...
Happens more often than what would you think.
He did the right thing by calling. I would suggest raising a webform as well. And more importantly reply to the email from where the PPR came. Also on the PPR itself they would have given an email id .. send an email to that. Those folks are q little faster in responding than general web query.

When he called to check status of application that time he knows they sent PPR which he didn't receive or spam(delete auto after 30 days)
And he redone already redone medical but how long for Police clearance valid ?
Finally I got PPR today
For the benefit of everyone: I waited for exactly 21 days/ 3 weeks before I received my PPR from the day a decision had been on my file. In this time, I mailed CPC Ottawa twice with no response and called IRCC thrice and connected to agents. One of them send a reminder to my VO to look into my file after 'decision made'. For everyone on the fence with a similar case, just be patient. I know ppl get PPR even a day after a ghost update, but as my case shows, I had to wait 3 weeks for my PPR to come through. Good luck all!

Received the email this morning. I cant access the portal anymore so cant really say if there are any changes there.
Honestly feels like a lid being taken off the pressure cooker. The amount of stress I, and everyone else has been through is unimaginable for the past 11 months! Not a single day passed by where I hadnt logged in and checked the portal for updates.
Hang in there guys, it seems like medical expiry is the tipping point. My medical expired on the 13th Nov and PR on the 22nd. My prayers are with you guys who are still waiting, may the golden email bless you all very soon.

Thank you to all for the help, support, shoulders to cry on, and for the advice, and all I can say to you all is if medicals are expired its not too far away, seems if extension is granted PR is instant, if remed then furthest seen so far is only 2 months!
