I am Nov 4 AOR . Called CIC two weeks back and i came to know that i have passed all the stages and my medicals are requested to be extended from their end. So now i want to know how much time do they take to extend my medicals? . and how much time for a golden email? Can some one help me to know a timeline for this please.

Since morning I've been digging hard on this but can't seem to find anything. I'm not sure if this is same as doing upfront medicals or you need to fill some new form

I feel you can't.. Because looking at the logic you will require an email requesting your medical which you need to submit at medical centre.. I remember submitting my ITA email before they start my procedure..and now on what basis will they taken your new medical test? Can't be sure though

I was a silent reader till now!! Yesterday my file got rejected because of wrong NOC code i guess!! So what should i do?

This is so unfortunate. Is it your guess that it could be due to NOC? The refusal letter will explain the reasons in detail but I would suggest to refer threads with information on dealing with refused cases and more knowledgeable people will be able to guide you depending on your situation.

@Sabisingh1016 it is hard to understand how ircc works .. each case is different and it is not possible to derive a timeline with regards to ip1 and ip2..
If you know any info on Eligibility, Security, Criminality and Medicals - these are good indicators regarding the status of an application - if Eligibility passed - huge hurdle overcome - Medicals and Criminality doesnt take long for ircc - Security is the next stage which could go from one week to 6+ Months ..
.
So if you know about the four elements of processing - should give you a fair idea on your status

Hi My Medicals got extended when i called CIC today agent told me that my application has a note last week which said medicals has been extended. Thankyou now wait for the golden mail.

should not take more than two weeks - probably next week

So I just found out you cannot take your second medical exam without a request from CIC.

Unlike upfront medical exam where you can just walk in to the hospital and get your exam done, to re-take medicals you will need to submit 'IMM 1017E'. This form is not available anywhere for download and will only be provided by CIC when they send you a medical request.

In Japan I had to have the request letter and number to be able to take upfront medical exam. Interesting to see it's different in other countries.

You will need to send them in writing, explaining your reason for withdrawal and include your full application details.

They will consider your request if your application is not in final stages and will refund the RPRF fees. It could take 2-3 weeks to complete the process but the refund it could take around 16 weeks.

If you don't mind, can you tell us the reason you mentioned for withdrawal?

Sith I think if you were in prison you'd be the inmate who tries to escape every month. Or if trapped in a corner would be one of those who comes out guns blazing. You never give up. Its an awesome attribute and it has given all of us here massive encouragement.

This time you may have to just lay low and trust in your provisions. Imagine King Aegon Tagaryen is outside your castle upon his dragon Balerion the Black Dread and is burning everything in sight...
