Just received GCMS notes and all my original documents submitted were crystal clear. They already checked online for my company website, even rang up my office and verified the contents of my work experience letter. Then the analyst marked everything as 'verified', 'appears met' and finally gave his recommendation as 'Recommend Pass' on April 18th.

I was worried about my POF since I took a gift deed but analyst looked pretty convinced.

Only Pending was RPRF. No idea what went on after that, they still asked for 2 ADRs  and haven't touched my case since.

So my theory that my case officer passed away before he can approve my case could be true after all

Hahahaha. Dead is a bit harsh, maybe abducted by aliens.

Very disappointed after reading notes. I would have been okay had I not received notes but now I know there is absolutely nothing wrong with my documents. I think they were planning on sending me PPR once they received confirmation of RPRF. They got confirmation on April 23 and on April 26 instead of sending PPR they sent me an ADR for proof of employment and income :(

No clue what happened during that 1 week that changed their decision :confused: Frustrating as hell as I was so close to getting it all done inside 6 months and now I'm still stuck in this nightmare past 9 months :(:(:(

I used to call IRCC using this number +1 613 944 4000 (which is global affairs canada(, and there was an option to be transferred to ircc(CIC),
But now they have changed the menu and there is no longer an option to get transferred to CIC...I assume too many people from abroad have tried contacting them this way, so they removed it.
Is there any other way to try and contact them?

When you hear that you need to contact cic through webform, press 0 and you will get transferred

Question for this group - How many of your applications are with the CIO in Sydney, NS and have got or not got their PPR emails ?

Thanks,

So I managed to get to an agent, but he said there was no movement in my file for a long time, and said it might be because it is in RR...but we know that is not the real reason, he said he will send a reminder to the officer, does it really help? is there any feedback from them that a reminder was received by the officer?

Can the agent on call see if der is rr on the file?? What about Ss? Can that also be known on call?

Same issue here. They sent a reminder email and then we received email from Ottawa office stating that the file is waiting for the queue to be reviewed by the officer and no specific time frame was told.

I am not sure about SS, but the agent can tell you the eligibility status(RR, recommended pass etc)

That sucks, I wish they were more useful with giving us some more information, or just prioritizing those who have been waiting for longer than 6 months..

I somehow believe that the call center agents only get a limited view of the applications. There is always a different information that you get every time you call.

3 remainders sent and even those remainders due date have expired and now they have sent a fourth one for me which will expire in another 2 weeks lol. Then they will send a fifth one and the cycle continues :D:D:D
