VO - Ottawa
1st Ghost - Arnd 27th April
2nd Ghost - A week after (not sure when exactly about both ghosts, happened over the weekend)
PPR - 7th May (1 day left on my timeline, seriously:rolleyes: )

I've been on a helluva journey the last 6 months just like the rest of you, rest assured please keep pushing yourselves through this and support each other, you will receive an update for sure.

All the best !!

Hey Guys,

Just an update on my case.

Following my PPR email on 7th May, I had to request for a change in VAC since they had mentioned Australia and other countries in the email, where I could submit my passport.

1. Received a response from IRCC on 23rd May - that I could submit the passport in VFS, India.
2. Submitted my passport, photos and the PPR email on 23rd May (Bangalore). I was provided a tracking number.
3. Passport received at New Delhi on 24th May. Looks like they've taken about 7 working days to process my application.
4. Online Application status changed to 'Approved' on 31st May and I received an email the next day.
5. Collected my Passport and COPR today from VFS.

It was a pretty simple process at VFS. If anybody have any questions, feel free to ping me.

Wishing everybody the best :)

Does anyone know how long it takes to get passport back from Ottawa following PPR for those residing in Canada.

Thanks

Congratulations! Remedical request means that your application has been approved. Within a few weeks after submitting the medical, you should get your PPR :)

hey, thank you! :)
What does application has been approved mean?
Background and security done?
They have not contacted my manager for my present organization though(Company did not provide a reference letter). Background check started today only and I spoke with him to be alert about call/mail.

The re-medical mail started like this:

"These medical instructions are being issued as your immigration application has reached the stage where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully."

Does this mean anything in particular, like reached final stage of approval?

Thanks :)

Yes, it means background, security are done and immigration officer has also done final review. Once your medical report is reviewed, everything will be completed. This should happen within 1 month.

thank you very much! :) :)

Yes, I have seen people get ppr after re-medical, within a day to within a month.
I am ready to wait for a month..any day better than what the last agent had told me: "wait until July end".

Yes you have all the reasons to be relieved. The remedical request is only done when the processing of the file has been completed and only expired or expiring medicals is the only reason disabling the VO to approve the application.
The below resource, though expired, will give you some insight on the processing of reassessment of medicals.
All the best!

With the updated interface, can anyone see any other dates on their profile? For example, I can see the date on which my medicals passed so I wonder if others can maybe see dates when other parts of the application passed?

Me too. but the MEP date displays on my page is not the real date I noted.
