How did you change your number to a Canadian number? I downloaded the app but it's only giving me US numbers to choose from...
Buy Fongo app from playstore.
You would need to pay around 350 INR and get it. It will give you a Canadian number and u can make calls without any kind of issues via net/wifi.
I have been using it to call CIC and my husband and till date I have never faced any issues. Rather my husband is also calling me in the number I got from this app from Canada.

Give it a try.

Normally BG check starts after eligibility is met/recommended pass however there are scenarios where eligibility is checked simultaneously. I suggest you should call today to check. Agent will confirm for sure. This is good though. Congrats
Thanks a lot..Will call them today..

Let me describe you my scenario,

1- I contacted MP because a guy of Nov AORs whatsapp group (which I left) told me about that there's a person who helps people, he shared Mp's email address to me so that's why, Now I dont know how authentic is MP
2- My VO is London, called IRCC twice months ago they said they can't share the details of my application because its OUTSIDE CANADA
3- The moment I got MP's reply about my eligibility not met, criminality passed and security not initiated, I shared the same to that group they said to upload updated doc through webform because they said salary and full time term is mandatory in the reference letter so upload the updated doc.
4- IRCC reply

Good day

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We are pleased to confirm the reception of the following documents:

  • Updated Docs(Principal Applicant)1.pdf
  • Updated Docs (Secondary Applicant).pdf
We have forwarded them along with the information you provided to the responsible office for their consideration.

Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in London, England, we invite you to also contact them in order to:

  • Report important changes,
  • Provide documents,
  • Add a representative or designated individual on file,
  • Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or
  • Enquire on an outcome to a request.
5- Have ordered GCMS 12 days ago

(I specifically dont know the main reason of eligibility not met, I assumed that can be a reference letter so uploaded the updated one)
IRCC calculates your experience by no. of working hours. So it might be true that not having number of hours mentioned in your letter might be the reason they might have mentioned your eligibility as not met.
Since you uploaded updated Work experience with number of hours and employment duration mentioned it would not be an issue anymore.
Next thing to worry, Does your NOC match? If yes, no issues.
Have you provided salary slips and tax returns? I would say provide as much info as you can to be on safer side.
you said you have a large deposit in your account. Have you provided explanation for that deposit?

If you answer all the above YES, your eligibility will be cleared

I uploaded the docs on 10-May-2019 through webform, now some people said there are 50/50 chances they might consider my docs.
Plus is it possible for them to change the status from Not Met to Met after uploading the docs through webform, want a realistic answer sir.

Thanks a million for reply.

Hey everyone
I submitted my application on November 12 and the ETA for completion was May 12 but I haven't received any updates other than "Your application is taking us longer to process", so I went an email via the webform and here's the reply I got :
"
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided regarding the status of your application and have forwarded it to the responsible office.

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application."

Any ideas on what should I do if I don't get a reply?

Thanks!

I have received the below reply for the web form I raised last week. Is it a standard reply which they give to all the queries?

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided regarding the status of your permanent residence application and have forwarded it to the responsible office.

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

I got the same! is your eligibility met? My AOR is Nov 20 Last updated on jan @Majid Nawaz

NOC match: YES
Salary Slips and tax slips: YES
Explanation for that deposit? NO

Get a new Proof of funds letter and 6 months bank statement signed and stamped and add a LOE explaining where those funds are from(provide proofs of those transactions like sale receipts).
Has your bank balance been maintained above the required amount for the last 6 months?
what was your working hours per month?see if you satisfy below condition
  • 12 months of full-time work:
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR
  • equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
    • 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Unfortunately, It all depends on our Case officer. But we got to do our due diligence as long as our application is under process.

I know a case recently which was rejected. But he got his application reinstated and got it approved in 30 days after rejection.
