This is scary...... How much time will background check take, any idea?

We seem to have very similar profiles and processing situations.

To answer your question, I see several oct folks in IP2 for 2-4weeks.

My GCMS note said Eligibility Recommend Pass. And there’s nothing in the note said any problem with my work experience in Canada.

However I got refusal because the officer is not satisfied with my work duties in Canada. That’s why my application got refused.

What can I do with that? Look for new job?

The reason can be that the duties mentioned are not matching with your education/Noc code mentioned.
the other reason can be that it matches exactly with the NOC code duties mentioned on the website.

Ottawa for some reason has delayed sending a PPR batch this time. It's same even with October folks.

But yea, fortunately spoke to a really really nice agent. She was too kind to put me on hold for 2 min and look into my notes in detail. She said eligibility is being reviewed; background check is in process - specifically the file is delayed because the officer is waiting for the foreign government bodies to revert. Apart from that nothing is flagged or marked reviewed. Although the completion date was updated on April 8 to be extended to Sep 8, but she said the file will move on once the officer receives the response.
My file is at Ottawa too.
This relieved me a bit; hope it's a nice news to hear.
Wish we all stay positive and wait for the one

It completely follows the NOC code duties. I was asking a specialist to check it before applying.

I don’t know if they’re suspicious of the job?

I am guessing the recent flooding there probably has delayed the dispatch..but then i wonder about the draw being conducted despite this...

Atleast 30-40% of applicants from October & November will be cleared if they dispatch PPR since it is the VO that is processing majority of the applicants.

It’s Assistant store manager NOC 0621.
I sent out Employment Verification Letter, Letter of Job Offer, paystubs for 2017 and 2018.
