I'm sorry to whine, but how the hell are FSW-O Single applicants from December end getting PPRs one month ago?! In fact, even for couple applicants, people from mid feb have gotten PPR is 85 days!!

Do we look like idiots to them?! The least we can expect is processing based on application date, or higher CRS score!! There's gotta be some logic. This is simply ridiculous to not even START looking at the application for people from October/Nov and give PPRs to folks from Feb.
I know a FSW-O single applicant from January who got PPR.

I think it more has to do with the visa officer in charge of your case and also they have to work towards set targets. So some of these lucky cases that get approved probably fall into those lucky categories. It's random how they pick these files. I remember a few folks here posted they received PPR back in February :):)

It has been 12 days since the ghost update, I am getting more and more anxious.

I'm sure if you call them and ask about the ghost update you'll learn that everything is passed, and awaits final approval ;)

guys maybe the work load for november applicants is really high.. because last october 2018. they issued 3 ITA's instead of 2.

usually they only draw twice per month. but october draw was done on oct 3, 15 and 29.

Yes they can.
My file is at LVO and they asked for recent bank statements + pay slips and tax assesments around 2 months ago.
Even I submitted everything with apllication but still they asked again.

Good luck

I know Local VOs can request anything and everything....but I meant can agents ask for an update on the file from the Visa officers....

A quick question..is there a possibility of a rejection after the application has only 23-23 days remaining? I think they do send ADRs if they have issues at this point rather than outrightly rejecting?
They can reject anytime....I have seen cases recently which were rejected even after 11 months without any ADR....
ADR only comes in 2 cases - If you are on the verge of misrepresentation or the officer is nice....otherwise straight rejections....

Hey guys, quick question.

Just got off the phone with IRCC agent. He was pretty nice but when I asked about my eligibility

he said "your application is review required" and
I asked what it meant
he said " someone needs to review your application" and
I asked "which particular part is review required" and
he said he couldn't tell me anything specific.

Have you guys had any similar response and know what it means? Quite worried now.

Yes agents can ask about file update from local VO only if you cross 6 month timeline

I think so... we are too deep to get any outright rejection. By this time, they would have checked if the documents are complete or not

PFL is quite rare, actually. If eligibility check hasn't started yet, the possibility of straight rejection is no less than for anyone who just had MEP done.
They don't check POF and Employment Letter until Eligibility assessment.
