Well I think, anyone who is planning to do a job on Canada shud have job bank account.. ....... This might not be same for those who plan to be self employed

I just got the golden email!!!!!!!!
I'm a FSW candidate in the US. I'm Nigerian with no dependents. Here is my timeline so far:
ITA: Oct 15
AOR: Nov 30
BG Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. (Sometime in Dec)
Med Passed: Sometime in Dec
BG Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. (Sometime in Jan)
Biometrics request: Jan 10
Biometrics completed: Jan 17
BG Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. (Feb 8)
BG Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information (Mar 13)
Ghost Update: Two ghost updates on Mar 22.
PPR: Mar 25
Visa Office: Ottawa, CA
Didn't request a case, GMC notes or call the center.

These forums are incredibly helpful. But they can also propagate unsubstantiated opinions. The more people there are contributing to the discourse, the better, especially if we make it habit to back up opinion with external documentation.
