Raising a CSE does not delay your application though. All CSE communications are attached to your application and when a VO finally sees your application, he just goes through all the CSE that you have raised along with the application.There is no special processing required for CSE.

I think the biometrics process speeds up the PR because it helps with background checks. Applications in countries with biometrics seem to be getting PPR faster e.g. Nigeria

I do not recall seeing any field on GCMS notes or application for workplace contact numbers or addresses. IIRC, only city and state are to be filled out. So there is no place to update this as they were not provided in the first place!

In either case, the person says that the HR's contact number remains the same (I missed this when reading) so I do not think it is necessary to send CSE as there is one working number on the reference letter that they can use for verification.

As for the biometrics thing, without actual data we cannot say. I have based this on the fast PPRs being given to Africans (not just Nigerians but other nationalities such as South Africans, Cameroonians, Moroccans, Algerians etc) this year & AFAIK biometrics was implemented for all African countries this year. It could be something else though, such as applications going to a LVO that isn't as burdened as Ottawa.

It also makes logical sense... why would Canada spend hundreds of millions of dollars implementing this system if there was no benefit? Everyone gives biometrics at the port of entry anyway.

It's very true actually. Unfortunately if the agent had told you that eligibility has started for you given Montreal office then she would probably have been wrong.

Right the moment they sent the Jobbank register thing for you, you need to create an account rite away. Otherwise after you submit your application, it will be invalid.
If you ignored it( like me) you should be fine as an account on Jobbank is optional nowadays.

Nov 3rd AOR, FSW-O, recrived update on 6th December for BGV consent form l, after that there is no update....on immigration tracker website people who have AOR dates in August and September are receiving the PPRs from February. When will we get some update ?

As per the trend it is 5 months now the processing time, hence September folks are getting PPR now.

I believe for us it should be raining PPR in April.

As per my observation from August, September and October threads, I think we should expect some kind of movement this week or the next for Nov 1-5 folks. Fingers crossed
