Because I remember it was something like , "You will not hear from us very soon, but your request is in progress. Most of the activities will happen in your profiles towards the estimated completion date" (Not the exact wording".

However, I see now that it's been changed without any notification to "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along".

Has it changed for you as well?
Yes it has changed and it is a automated message after you cross 3 months

It do

It doesnt necessarily have to be moved from ottawa.
Possible to get PPR from Ottawa I guess.

Man, lets see how they deal with my application in the coming weeks. As per the agent it's been untouched since they transferred it to Ottawa

Hello guys!!

Just got to know that my file is in New Delhi Visa office... Is the processing actually slow there??

Hi Guys,
I am November 8 AOR, living in the US for the past 9 years. I called CIC last Friday and the rep told me that everything looks "Good". I asked him as to why I still haven't received a request to submit Bio-metrics and he said that we don't need it from everyone.
Could anyone else share their experience? I am from Pakistan so I thought I still needed to give Bio-metrics even though its been close to 7 years since I have been back.

Any responses would be appreciated.

I belive Biometrics are needed for applicants after Dec 31st 2018

Is it necessary to move Indian cases to NDVO? I thought it's just random. Yours might be processed in Ottawa only . Hopefully I get PPR by March end. Lot of plans are there after that.
It is usually better to move to local VOs since they will be able to process the applications better as they will have better knowledge of the country.

Mine and several other Indian applicants are processed at Ottawa.

I would say realistically you should expect PPR by April!! As per immitracker, the average processing times for Indians is 150-170 days.
