I called up CIC few hours ago and not sure what to make out of her response. After MEP practically nothing has started in my application yet. It's almost as if it had hit a wall. Very cautiously she said my VO is Ottawa 'at the moment'. Wonder if she was just reading out my account page to me. Nonetheless very discouraging. Nov 2nd AOR MEP Dec 13 and nothing after that.

You guessed it right...She was making sure not to give out too much information....
I have called about 6 times and only twice have found really nice agents that gave me detailed information of what is happening...Out of other 4 times, 1 time was a super rude agent that didn't even bother taking my application no. and other 3 just said nothing started.

Hi, Can anyone update me on biometrics process??
Do we still need to give biometrics for AOR 22 Nov??

If yes then when ??
Thanks
You don't have to worry about biometrics unless you get a mail asking you to give your biometrics.
You cannot give your biometrics without that mail.

Not really. Applications are assigned between CIOs, CPCs and LVOs randomly to distribute workload, and that too at different stages. Not sure why people are so obsessed with finding out the visa office, gives no information about stage of application and expected processing times and its not like one can go down to the visa office and badger them :D
Yes that’s true..even if we get to know about the VO..we can’t go to them and force them to work sooner:D

Disagree. Some visa offices just are slower on average, like Montreal. If your application is there it is highly likely that it will be delayed

If they are slow ,we still can’t do anything apart from sulking..they’ll do what they have to afterall

I think I quoted the wrong post.

YoureY right, there's nothing we can do. But it makes the wait better by setting expectations.

lol WTF... how are those agents work? I called few days ago to ask about my biometrics, the agent told the y have it, also received an email after raising a CSE saying the responsible office received my biometrics, the embassy also says they have it. Just now got an email from another agent, saying the responsible office yet to receive it, and I should send it again, or contact my VO(in this case CPC-O)...wow, what the hell? why does it have to be so frustrating?:mad::mad:

just called CIC again, and was told by the agent that they have it, and there is no need to reapply/resubmit. That's a relief.
But why does this process have to be so frustrating...:(
