From what I read eligibility and criminality take the longest so if those 2 have been recommend as pass then you are very close to PPR.
Can you give me the phone number of the call centre agent? What's a good time to call them?

Guys ordering GCM notes actually delay the processing of file?
No it doesn't but it comes almost a month later so by then your application will be updated even further.

I noticed a case where a guy ordered GCMS notes after 4 months from AOR. When the GCMS notes finally arrived he had already received his PPR 2 weeks earlier :D

Anyone from CPC-Ottawa? Have you tried emailing CPC-Ottawa to see if they provided you with an update?

ha ha.. Hope PPR comes soon..!!

Hey guys i have tried calling cic (from outside canada) countless times but everytime it just tells me the line us busy and cuts me off. So i am thinking of asking a friend in canada to call on my behalf. Is this a valid option? Is there anything wrong with someone in canada calling cic on my behalf?

hi guys,

So yesterday I called CIC ( 88 days post AOR) and the kind agent told me that criminality has passed and they were doing verifications regarding eligibility. My file is currently in Ottawa and she said that after that , my file will move to the local VO (which usually is Rome for my country) . Now, please I really need your opinion on 3 things:

1.How much time do you think it is needed for eligibility to be met or not met from the agent in Ottawa? (When is the best time to call again to get information regarding this matter?)

2.If eligibility is not met, will my file still move to VO or will I get the refusal letter?

3.When your file moves to VO do we get a ghost update or smth?Because she said that when your file will transfer to local VO you will get notifiedo_O

Hi, I am new to this group. My status is as below:

1) Eligibility is the most important aspect of your application so it may take 1 month or even 6 months no one knows. Really depends on the VO

2) If eligibility is not met your application will be refused I'm afraid

3) Yes, you should get a ghost update
