I think I read somewhere on IRCC website that if R10 fails, they upload the application to GCMS anyways and send a rejection and also refund all fees (cost recovery and PR, if paid).
MEP is done by Health Canada - obviously a part of the cost recovery fees would be allocated to one of Health Canada’s department. This may imply that MEP indirectly means R10 is passed.
R10 definitely is a significant milestone - the check not only places a significant onus on the applicant for completeness of the application but also empower ircc for rejection without giving much reasons. In later stages if they do realize about missing documents, a high probability exists for raising a demand for the same by VO or Case Analyst

Not always MEP means that R10 is passed. And not always having MEP pending means that R10 is pending.

In my case, I called IRCC on Nov 20 (btw I called not specifically to enquiry about status hahaha, but because of a name updated with error in their system), and the agent said that R10 was passed, although MEP was still pending. I got MEP until yesterday (no particular issue, no additional tests, only waiting...).

I'm November 8th AOR, have been following you guys for some time and decided to join for updates. I still haven't received my medicals passed and have seen quite a few people getting their medicals cleared for November 8th AOR. Anyone else have any similar experience?

Should I just wait?

Don´t worry. If your doctor didn´t say anything to you regarding your tests, you only need to wait. Good luck!

It took me 67 days to receive MEP (no issues, no additional tests, I was only waiting). Their website has the following aclaration:
"If you’re applying as a permanent resident, it takes about three months to process your results after we get them from the panel physician. After that, if we don’t need any other documents from you, we’ll tell you what to do next."

So, even though the current trend is to see MEP after 30-35 days, sometimes it takes more time. Cheer up and patience!

Then, don´t worry, you only have to wait for the update with lot of patience hahaha (I totally understand your worries, I had the same feeling). Your R10 check could be processing simultaneosly. MEP pending won´t stop that.

Did someone noticed the pattern on immigration tracker November AOR 2018. For each date starting Nov 1st till Nov 13th as of today, first few entries still have their medicals due. Is it a coincidence ? Or may be those people are late at updating the tracker.

Yes, I don't think you have too many other options at this stage

But, as somebody mentions in many cases the MEPs can take a little more than 30 days.

These days it is taking at least 30 days for people to get PPR. So i don't think anybody from the 19th would have gotten it. I think right now people with AOR Nov 12/13 are getting their MEPs.
