Just got off the phone with IRCC.

I was asked to call back after a month after my initial conversation in May. At the time my application according to them was all good and the PPR email was around the corner or was in the final stage.

I called today after a month. The representative was surprised that I hadn't heard from them yet. She spoke with the advisor while on the call with me to confirm what was going on. In the end, she said that she has sent a note to the case officer about the same and I should expect to hear from them in 3-4 weeks!

And there goes another month!

Guys, I received Australian State Nomination from Canberra . Didn't see that coming :D:D:D:D The email was in my spam folder for past 3 days ::):)

I got nominated with 65 points, lowest score to receive nomination in recent draws.

Last year, I rejected EOI from Australia when I got Canada ITA, a decision I regretted even more in the last few weeks. Now I am going to think about this over the weekend and decide whether or not to pursue on this journey since I am really getting tired of this Canada nonsense :):):):):)

Very happy and thankful that life has given me another opportunity :):):)

That's great! There will be some work done on your application in the coming weeks it seems.
By the way, how did you manage to call them? Are you in Canada right now? If not
how do you get in touch with IRCC via phone?

Lol but you're at the end of your process with Canadian EE!
+ I thought there was more racism in Australia. Anyway I'd choose Canada over Australia for the proximity to the rest of the western world and for my love of BC.

Well sith
I think we are the only applicants with3 adrs....... And no clue about what is happening to our files.. ......
I hope after all this anxiety, sleepless nights and long wait...... We do get ppr....... Coz only if ircc gives me ppr........ I might forgive them for making me wait so long
We will eventually get PPR but the biggest question is when. It could be a week, a month, a year or who knows even a decade lol.

I am too happy right now to even think about my Canada PR application.

They say it's in final review and who knows how long they keep it in final review. Could be even a year!!! I'm exhausted with the waiting and not really concerned anymore.

Anyways, I see this more like another opportunity and if Canadian PR doesn't come it's not like end of the world :)

In all fairness, we all complain about the EE process and the delays but we should remind ourselves that this program is truly exceptional. There is no other similarly developed country that offers the opportunity to become a PERMANENT resident in less than a year for a cost <$2,000.
The big issue with the EE program is simply about managing expectations. IRCC have set the bar way too high claiming that 80% of the applications would be processed under 6 months.

I understand what you feel and hope you get PPR sooner rather than later! Good to have options too.
If I may ask, what motivates you to move to Canada or Australia?

There should be a link below
Application status and messages
On you profile after you log in that says something like "view submitted documents"
Click there and you will see the list of all the docs you have already uploaded and a new slot for the new documents you are supposed to upload.

An update for you guys to help ease some tensions. I got my PPR today in my CIC account. I have yet to receive the email but to be honest i could care less about the email now LOL.

My timeline is as follows:

AOR 12 Nov 2018
MEP 13 Dec 2018
Biometrics completed 18 Dec 2018
Complete silence after biometrics until 31 May when i got a ghost update and got the PPR letter in my account today.

I ordered GCMS notes twice and both stated eligibility and security not stared. The latest notes were generated as of 30 April 2019 and eligibility and security were yet to start. Emailed Ralph around 7th May and he said the same thing as the notes. It took longer than six months but when they picked up my file they processed it in less than a week so stay hopeful and don't worry. It's just around the corner. It will come when you least expect it.

VO was initially ottawa but file was transferred to London on April 16 2019.
Great news, congratulations.

On Monday I received an email that my case is awaiting final review. I'm not sure how long this final review would take, could be a month, a year, a decade, a century :p:p:p:p:p:p:p

The progress bar has stopped at May 2 and the status says it's taking longer than usual
And they sent you this email after you asked them something or it just came out of the blue?
