Hi guys,
Today I finally received the golden email!! I´m so happy that the long wait is over!
I´m an FSW-inland applicant (AOR 29th NOV), my application was in Montreal up until March/April ( I´m not sure because my notes haven´t arrived yet), but then it was transferred to Hamilton-On on May. Today, I received an email scheduling the interview for next week at Niagara Falls.
Thank you very much for this forum! Please, for those who are still waiting don´t lose hope, PPR is close!!
Congrats

Seems like a mistake. It does happen!! Just explain in a LOE
Hi
I just read the adr again.....
When I got 2 adrs before..... The heading was - We are processing your background check for permanent residence to Canada

And this the adr which I got yesterday
The heading was - ......background check for temporary residence in Canada.....

This is shocking......
Can this also be an error?????
I would call it a blunder..... :(

Hi guys,

Just received another ADR, to submit 'IMM 5406 Additional Family Information' for me and my spouse within 7 days. Also my Background check status changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information".

Happy to share that my application is progressing now and I Wish June month should be lucky for all of us to receive PPRs,especially @SithLord :)
Great news!!

Definitely seems like an error. Just submit the document they're asking for or whatever equivalent you have and write up a LOE

Hey guys,

I'm not a totally silent reader here but I've had just minimal interaction.

I mentioned here yesterday that I had gotten my very first ghost update and @Hopeful007 said my PPR was coming soon and @Aquast also predicted I would get PPR today based on his/her timeline.

It finally came today, I have just checked my email for the first time today and lo and behold, there it was, the golden (final request) email staring right at me. My timeline is as follows

AOR Nov 27 2018
MEP passed 5 Jan 2019 (this just got updated on my profile today)
Biometrics requested 5 Jan 2019, submitted 8 Jan 2019
Absolute silence until.....
Ghost update 3 June 2019
PPR 4 June 2019

I will be submitting my passport on the 6th as tomorrow is a public holiday here, will update on the process and how long it takes.
Will also be here waiting for the good news from others especially @SithLord @Upasana @Priya0227 @shweta and others whose cases I've been following too.

I know at this point it sounds cliche but this thread has been of immense help during this waiting period. Hope everyone gets theirs in this month without delay. (can't believe I wrote all of this epistle, lol. sorry for the long post)
Congrats

I submitted the documents yday. Also I wrote to them that I was unable to understand what they are trying to ask..... However I have attached documents for both me and my dependant to be on the safer side.....
I did not notice this mistake about temporary residence..... Otherwise I would have included this as well.......

This is an error..... But it Making me ask a serious question......
If the case managers are making such errors with something so simple...... What is the guarantee that whatever they decide about our file will be a right decision ......
Now only God can help..... In the right decision of our case

Well, they did say they've hired new case officers to help with backlogs so this could be a result of that lol

I had ordered and received GCMS notes once before. Is it advisable to apply for a second set?

It's been about two months since the first set was ordered, received by the first week of May. At the time no progress was seen (eligibility, criminality and security checks had not even started), except passing medicals.

I wonder if the file is gathering dust for the last two months! Thoughts anyone?
