Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask if you get a ghost update for electronic GCMS notes received. The electronic GCMS notes received is from ATIP as per the email; not sure if this is liked to CIC and getting the notes updates ones CIC profile (the ghost update)

So I got a response from Ottawa VO for the remainder that was sent on Friday  That was lightning fast.

"Please be informed that your application is currently in queue awaiting final review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed."

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hey I received that same update a week ago. Things are looking up for us now.

I noticed same when I got a ghost update the day when I received WebForm response....

Sorry. I know that's not what you wanted to hear.

@kattarrina had her application approved sometime back in April and she was told her landing interview could take 3 months.

So when you do get approved be prepared for another 3 months wait.
That's for Vancuver VO, not sure about others...
I've just completed 7 months today, will like be 8 months before I hear anything...

There is an option in the profile that says get updates every month, I checked it yes today, don't know if that helps!

Depends on the location. Toronto is pretty fast because Etobicoke office is pretty big apparently and they sometimes send people to Niagara Falls as well, whereas the whole Vancouver, Victoria are stuck with a tiny office in Vancouver. Some genius thought that was a great idea, YAY!

Any idea about batch released by Ottawa

.....
Any update if dey are going to issue pprs today??
I'm not sure. Thought there would be one last week

Well, it's a new month so let's see. They will surely have to release one this month

Hi Congrats...can u please let me know how did u ask for a reminder to the Ottawa VO.

Everytime I call CIC ,they just read out the message I see in my account.

Any other way to know some more details by calling them?
Well, I asked if it would be possible for her to contact VO and get an update and she said yes and sent a remainder :)

My notes has smth strange. The case analyst says s/he couldn't determine work period because employment letter didn't have an end date, therefore it's review required.

How can it have an end date if it says the person is STILL working??
Probably the result of hiring new inexperienced case analysts :D:D:D

This is normal, any information which is not according to the standard format of IRCC instructions will have an RR. The officer will cross-check and make it pass.
