Yes, sounds like it. They sometimes send people to do more analysis.

Are you sure that the background check changed? I feel like mine has been we are reviewing from day 1. I can't remember.
Yes, background check has always been "not applicable" till now. Now it says "your application is in progress."

yeah, that happened with me too. Before it was NA. After MEP it says "your application is in progress, ......we will send you a message when we start your background check."

Mep 20th December

When will the background check start and what is the current timeline for it to be completed?

Until MEP everyone is on almost same timelines(approx. 32 days for most)...but the moment you get your MEPs each is on their own timelines....
Lots of factors affect each person's background check- single/family, travel history, country of origin...so no one has any fixed timelines as such....

May I know if anyone had an RCMP clearance request (Inland Application) the same time when as MEP? Also, what does this stage mean?
I didn't have an RCMP request but I did it before hand anyways....I am outland though....

Guys,

I am new to this forum - I submitted my application - AOR Nov 16th 2018. My current status is Medicals passed.

I see some conversations around education credentials document to be attached while submitting. I only submitted ECA reports from WES. I have a Master's degree. Do I need to submit my degree certificate too? If yes, should I wait for additional documents request or should I upload now?

Also, any help on how to upload/replace documents post AOR is greatly appreciated!

Thanks folks! All the best everyone.

Does anyone know how to remove spouse work experience, since I’m not getting points for it.
Should I answer NO in work history and then in personal history it’s okay to write Employment?? How would that work?

Yes, degree certificate is required. I too had submitted just the ECA but later raised a cse and send the degree certificates. Please do it before they ask.

Submission of degree certificate is must. Do it via CSE webform as soon as possible.

Hi,
I see some ppl talking about RCMP request. Is this always a case with inland applicants? I had no idea, thinking that CIC would do that on it's own...
My AOR is Nov 3, MEP Dec 1st.
Since MEP my BG is showing- we are processing your BG....
Should I expect RCMP request? Can I just order it and upload before they ask for it, to speed things up?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Could someone please explain again or point me to the post explaining the change in UCI number? They are currently "reviewing the results" of my medical exam. My UCI number is now different than it originally was. Not sure when exactly it changed, just noticed today.
