Hi friends, How is Eligibility linked to Background check. if Back ground check is started does it mean Eligibility is met or it can still be in process.
Or these work in parallel.
Long wait pushing for unnecessary analysis :p

That gift deed became irrelevant since you withdrew the amount. Thats why you should have justified why you withdrew.
Gift deed is usually to show that the money has been deposited from the donor's account to the receipt's account. What the recipient does with the money afterwards does not make the Gift Deed irrelevant.

Just write LOE similar to what you wrote here. I'm sure there will be no problems at all. In many countries ( including Canada) financial records must be kept for 7 years only, and they are asking well past that. As long as you nicely explain I'm sure they will be satisfied.
Hi,

Thanks for the response. We have gathered all tax documents and bank statements from 2011. Only salary slips are missing for 2011 and 2012 that have been requested to employer and they say they will try to find in servers and if not then they can issue an official letter stating salary for that period. Also bank statements from 2011 shows monthly salary credits.

Now the doubt is that my friend has shown fixed deposit in Bank A as POF and all his salary was credited in account with Bank B which was not shown earlier. Can this raise Red flags now.

We will still be attaching new bank letter and Fixed deposit from bank B as evidence of still maintaining the POF.

Hello Guys, sad news for me. A refusal! For the most ridiculous reason.

The case officer checked the latest bank statement but did not check the attached Fixed Deposits. Below is the reason. Can someone help me? Appeal? Reapply? How much time will it take?

"In your Express Entry profile, as proof of funds, you submitted a notarized Gift Deed which indicated that Rs. 10,00,000 was transferred into your State Bank of India Account. I note that bank statements were not provided. On April 5, 2019, our office requested bank statements from the State Bank of India account. In response, you submitted the State Bank of India account statement, which shows the deposit and subsequent withdrawal/transfer of the Rs. 10,00,000 from your account. The ending balance on March 29, 2019, was Rs. 41,064.03, or rather, CAD $791.35"
I am sorry to hear about that.
When you submitted the initial EE profile, what POF were submitted?
What was exactly asked on April 5th and what did you exactly submit?

Yeah true. He should have provided FD details with bank statement and mentioned that the FD amount can be broken and used immediately.

Ok we have gathered all documents except

1. Salary slips for 2011 and 2012 as they are not available. But we have got bank statements for these years showing salary deposit.

2. Tax return statements for 2011 and 2012 as he did not filed returns because of no taxable income.

3. All documents scanned to lowest quality and still it is 8 MB.

Now seeking advise on the above mentioned shortfalls.
Is CIC asking you to upload on my cic account or via CSE?

U should appeal ,coz u had funds all the time ,u can write to ottawa directly or to the email address of refusal letter. I have seen cases like this reopening . Don't loose hope and meanwhile create new profile. But I strongly believe that u will be reconsidered

I strongly agree with this and it is highly recommended to write an e-mail as well as submit the clarification via IRCC webform. Your case should be re-opened and eventually approved.

My cic account has limit of 4 MB.
Create the file in microsoft word
Save the file in PDF format. You will see two options:
1. Standard (Publish online and printing).
2. Minimum size (publishing online)

Use option 2 and see if that works for you and compresses the file under 4 MB
Thank you so much. Will try the same. As of now the file size is around 10 MB

Hi all,

I just received my package in the mail to land as a permanent resident. I am going on vacation next week but I have to import my car. Do I have to land when I come back or can I come in regularly and import my car and land at a later date.

I was planning on calling next week but couldn't wait so went with it today.

I got a pretty good agent and he was super helpful. So my application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, he can't provide a date when my file will be reviewed.

Not sure if this means my file is waiting to be picked up by an officer? Or I'm marked RR?

Also, when I asked him about why my application estimated completion date is pushed to June 11. He said it is not and it is still under 6 months processing time. He went on to explain that June 11 is not the date for the estimated completion date but rather a timeline by which I should receive an email about my application. If I do not receive one by then, I can give them a call and the agent will put forward a request email to the responsible office for an update on my application.
