Subject line says "passport request letter" And so i am skeptical. Earlier I have received email from CPC Ottawa as "Ready for visa" subject line
Maybe because it's not part of a batch as usually is the case with RFV emails but it does appear to be legitimate. Btw were you able to sort out the earlier issue with landing?

Yes all done and sorted. With this passport request letter I will get another updated COPR along with my dependent COPR.

What's the reason you did not mention the salary?

1. Get the letters as per IRCC requirements which should also include the salary. Did you upload copies of payslips or bank statements showing salary deposits? Did you upload the income tax returns? What else did you upload regarding your employment proof?

Once i have answers to your questions mentioned above then i will guide you regarding LOE
@thecoolguysam I submitted only the letters with the title of my role, detail of my responsibilities, number of working hours a week and the time spent in the role. These were roles I had 2009/2010 (in my country) and 2013/2014 (outside my country). I could not access bank statements as I need to be physically present in the bank and I do not have payslips. I have an income tax document for 2013/2014 role.

Sorry I did not answer the first question. It was an honest omission

I did not emphasize that in my request to the companies. This is because the companies have been through many changes including a merger and rebranding. I was blessed to still have a few people that still knew me well to assist with the letter so I did not want to push my luck to far.

If you can get letters to show your salary, that might help. If your salary was deposited in your bank then you can show that statement as well.
If you have submitted the income tax returns that is helpful as well. Does your numbers on income tax returns match your salary?
Now it is up to you if you want to submit some paperwork proactively. Order notes again to see the progress.

Draft a LOE to explain everything without causing any confusion or complication.
