What could possibly be reason for the delay.do you really thing that security hasnt started.dont you think security might be in process whilst awaiting review by the officer?I have been on eligibility recommend passed, criminality passed as well and the wait isn't funny at all.
What's your AOR and when medical expires?

There is no transparency in the process...a timeline of no use...no updation in our profile... can't rely on agents... at least they should let us know what's happening and give a reason for delay...
The reason shouldn't matter. When they can process applications from April and May 2019 then there is no excuse to keep 2018 eligibility met applications pending.

It's going to get even worse in December when they will be off for winter break.

I don't understand the logic of clearing new applications while a lot of applicants are waiting and watching after 9 or 10 months

Probably there is a quota for them. Need to process 80% cases within specified timeframe.

For a lot of cases there are no statutory reason to deny but nevertheless we sit in a black hole forever. To add insult to injury they sent me a letter to let me prepare photos and wait for eventual ppr (because they need my current country of residence to route my application for ppr issuance) 2 months ago
☹

Probably getting ready for their long winter break in December.
But why don't they understand, they are putting our life on hold...... They should just give a reply, whatever it is.
I tried a lot to find something in my cbsa notes..... But everything seems fine...... They are working on 2019 files , which is good and appreciated .... But why don't they understand that it's the 2017 or 2018 lot which is more frustrated because of the delay.......
Some applicants left jobs long back, thinking that ppr would come within 6-7 months.... And now they are without jobs....... Moreover.... After an year long wait they ask applicants to redo medicals .....again adding to the cost......
I think , it's really enough from der end..... It's high time they reply now......

It feels like we are being held hostages at the will of IRCC.

Guys just wanted to ask a question that has been bothering me of late..

If there is a change of government in the upcoming federal elections and the next government decides to decrease or change the laws of immigration ... what happens to the cases already submitted ???

Any thoughts.....

From my point of view..
All applications submitted prior the new government decision will not be affected.
