No, they didn't ask me for re-medical (and that's great because I would have had to travel to another city to get those). My Visa office is CPCO.
Yeah! That's great! In my case, it is very expensive to do the medical and we are a family of 4..
I hope all NOV 2018 AORs get the golden email soon!

All the best to you! :)

Sydney not on the list :confused::confused: and services for processing PR applications not included :rolleyes::rolleyes:
I hope they up their game and process all backlogs!

A friend of mine who's in Ontario recently told me that JT was in their area and held a meeting or something and what he said was to prioritize processing those who are already in CA (inland applicants).

So outland applicants like me not a priority?:( Sigh. I just hope we all get processed soon and receive our most awaited RFV mail...

Well ... We are already in 10th month ... we have already passed the priority game and all that drama... haha ... all we are now is a backlog which they have to clear as our medicals are expiring soon and they have to pick our files and do something with them..

Yeah. I hope we get it soon and extend validity of our visas so as we do not rush and cram our way to Canada!

Hey I would like to ask if for anyone in this group has anyone called employee office or something like that. What i mean to know is that
has anyone got any evidence that their background has been checked be it employeer of pof etc.
My GCMS notes says, they verified my work experience by calling my employer's office :)

Start of a new week!! To all eligibility met applicants, let's hope this is our week :)
Hi SithLord,

Just want to run my file across you. Recently received our GCMS notes.
My wife has Crohn's disease (an auto-immune disorder) which requires Humira (a biologic drug which is quite expensive and possibly throws us over the annual threshold). She is currently in remission and under control and has been for a few years now (thanks to the drug). She is the main applicant and i am the co-applicant.
As a result, our immigration officer decided we should not to pay the RPRF upfront. Instead she wanted to wait for CIC to request the RPRF as to give us a better indication that they are less likely to reject our file or issue a PFL should they request the payment of RPRF.
The RPRF came on 16th May 2019 and we paid on 17th May 2019. After this, nothing.

We have not been issued with any PFL, but we were both requested to redo our medical tests (requested to redo medicals received 08th Aug 2019). When we went, the doctor said that it is most likely that they are just seeing whether her condition has worsened or whether it has remained stable over this time before granting the visa. Her condition has remained the same and stable. Our medicals were re-done and completed last Monday (19th August 2019) and most likely uploaded to CIC middle to end of last week.

What do you think? You think they are likely to issue a PFL after all has happened above and with below details?

Hi there!
Just wanted to share that my husband's medical was about to expire in July, so he got re-medical in June and cleared on 19th June. We got PPR 2 months after re-medical request.
Re-medical request is a good sign. Till date at least I have not come across any application that was rejected post re-medical. Our application was exception that we received so late after re-medical.
So be relaxed, should be soon now..

When does your medical end?
I took them on September 25th, so I guess they technically end on that day, although my profile was updated and now it shows:

Review of medical results
  • August 23, 2019 You passed the medical exam

Can't really tell if that means they were extended.
