All data for Country of Residence - India

Is it possible that they have 'country of citizenship' and 'country of residence' wise yearly quotas? I don't know if anybody has noticed, but the number of PPRs issued recently with 'country of residence' as India has drastically reduced. This is just an observation from immitracker.

As per immitracker, there were 534 PPRs issued till Aug 22, 2018 last year, and they issued 900 in 2019 (year to date), with country of residence as India. Just comparing year-on-year data.

2019 Statistics (PPRs issued):
Jan: 111
Feb: 115
Mar: 125
Apr: 130
May: 144
Jun: 133
Jul: 101
Aug: 41 (till yesterday Aug 22)

Now what I can infer is that they are mostly issuing more than 100 per month as per the sample from immitracker. But, they have only issued around 40 this month. So either we will see a big batch in the next 7 days for Indians or they must have reached their country of residence wise limit. I would like to believe the former and be positive :)

Let's hope for the best!!!
They seemed to have released a batch yesterday. Many from January and a few from September and August got PPR

January 2019 ?? The so called PPR rain never happened for us November Batch and now it seems anything can happen from rejection to a unending wait. I saw the July and August 2018 threads and I am shocked to see people waiting for 15+ months with nothing other than medicals passed. All this really dwindles my hopes.

I called IRCC today. Here's what I got:
AOR: November 02, 2018
Medical Passed: December 03, 2018
Medical valid till: October 15, 2019
Eligibility: Under Review
Criminality: Passed
Security Screening: Not Started

Should I be worried about the eligibility under review even after 10 months of application submission?

The lady told me that I should hear something from IRCC before September 23, 2019; seemed like some kind of deadline. If I don't get any response by then, then call back for an update.
That was how they told me I will get response by August 20th...they scammed me again...still waiting.. I called after, they said background check still in progress.. Might take weeks or even months

Perhaps not in this thread, but there are 17 cases with AOR Nov 2 on MyImmitracker who already received PPR (vs 7 waiting), and let’s not forget that this thread and MyImmitracker are both just little samples from the total of people that indeed applied.

Did you order gcms notes and do you know what you are under RR for .. i would proactively send docs for whatever you are under rr for .. not late yet to order gcms notes if you haven't..
Good luck
Thanks, I'll order GCMS notes. I am certain they might have put me under review due to my old rejected application 10 years ago.

There does not seem to be any consistency and transparency in the information that these guys share with applicants.

not certainly - could be anything minor from pof to noc to work exp - it has become common for them to put candidates under rr these days ..
.
from what i have heard - ircc hired newbies who work partime or are fresh from school as case analysts and they have been instructed to put files on rr if in doubt - seems like they were hired to help speed up process but not really helping detailed files with extensive work history and travel history - helps straight forward files with no travel history and one job experience which per ircc are easy to process ..

the number of candidates and files going under rr have increased these days compared to what they have been a year ago due to less experienced case analysts
